I'm pretty sure that any GPU / APU that came out about 4 years ago will be around that price, unless you want the GTX970 at a cool $350.

If your not going to buy the GTX 970 for around $330 (or maybe the 960 for $200) then just stick with intel hd 4600 integrated graphics.

I heard GTX 970 has some memory bug. My budget is around $80 to $120 for used.

I have a GTX 650 with 384 cores and I'm actually pretty happy with it after I overclocked it, but I would just like a little more Oomph is Advance Warfare and Titanfall. I bought Titanfall for X1 and it looks like shit, so much better even with my $60 GTX 650.

Why not? People are replying. Don't you have better things to do on this snow day than calling an anonymous poster on the Internet a semen gargler?? That's just fucking sad.

3D drivers are very unstable.

the second you get one that works with v. GL-0.1.1, the software you use will require GL-0.1.2 and your fucked, it will work like crap, and sofware emulation will work better (meaning business software or cartoon renderware)

make sure your card has build-in MPEG decoder and wide support for enabling - you'll need it

get a rack mount unit that downloads and uploads footage to television stations from any location (it's done using IP and mpeg, media proffesional group, not vfw)

now your done with your multimedia "problems"

your ready to broadcast false news that makes it look like your owed money and owe nothing and people should be afraid to speak otherwise

just like gov !

all of the ratings on the cards are incomparable and bullshit these days

all you need to know is: if it's new apple it has CL and it works, if it's 90's pc it has GL and works , if it's inbetween you don't know

NEVER EVER beleive anything on the box. test features you need when you get it and i mean ALL OF THEM

they will lie and say drivers will be released. next they'll change versions and say your no longer supported your legacy: still no driver

RETURN THE DAMN THING IMMEDIATELY IF THEY SAY ANYTHING ABOUT A SOON TO BE RELEASE DRIVER THAT WILL BE AVAILABLE

europe is doing anything the can to fuck over america to close it down

they are pushing ARM and euro things while logging into our servers breaking video code so only theirs works

-----------------------------
meanwhile microsoft stole GL , perverted it as they do everything , and offshored the factory using the stolen technology to CHINA , microsoft always seeks to kill usa products and enable chinese ones. and infact they aren't far from china, washington state.

apple is using CL which is GL stolen by europeans they are saying. it's really stolen GL with some hacky new features that GL already had , but slightly different and renamed to hopefully avoid theft allegations and such

=========================

IBM or wildcat probably still make the best and fastest engineering cards.

but you don't need one. the minute you get it your software will try to attack it versionally to break it.

===================

no one needs or uses TV TUNER cards now - it's all IP

so look for great multimedia support and don't spend a dime on 3D unless your an engineer or buying a sony wii

=============

your using microsoft? then you have little choice. play into their con game and continually be forced to upgrade and have continual failures. or it wont work at all hardly. they insure nothing else works on a continual basis they break whatever is not by them: and whatever was suggested by them as well.

5 yrs ? well your legacy , fuck off

you don't have a choice your kiding yourself

your new cards will boast allot of features and actually use system memory and system cpu to do it: and only on a set system (if you upgrade, total breakage eventually)

previoulsy there WAS choice

and features WERE ALL IN SILICON no driver required (per say, a small one for setup)

----------------------
today you never know. the CPU may have stolen java in it (cell phone) or may say it does and fake it.

iPhone is no longer using apple chips, motorola or intel: their using EURO chips

the one thing that's true is - dont assume hardware is getting better. it's more of a counterfeiting game and more lies than it ever was. and in the past you couldn't trust one damn thing printed on any box in a computer store.

I ended up buying two used GTX 670 2GB in an SLI deal for $265 total. Yeah, way above my budget. I'll sell something to bring it in budget. Ended up with over 2600 CUDA Cores vs 1100 for a new GTX 960.

Thanks to those that helped (kinda).
