Police say the man wore a mask and followed her into the locker room where he assaulted her.
FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA) - A 23-year-old Fairfax-area woman exercising in a community gym, was sexually assaulted by a masked man Monday night. Fairfax county police say it happened in the 4000 block of Majestic Lane in the Fair Lakes are of Fairfax county, at about 8:30 p.m.
Police responded and an investigation determined a man wearing a mask entered the gym. He watched the woman for a few minutes before following her into the women's locker room.
Once inside, he allegedly sexually assaulted her and a struggle ensued when the victim resisted. She was able to fend off the suspect, and escaped to her residence, and called police. The victim received minor injuries and was transported to Inova Fair Oaks Hospital, where she was treated and released.
The suspect was described as black, approximately 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He wore a cloth mask to cover his face, and a dark, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. Police are continuing to investigate.

I think the masked guy was there to help her run faster on the treadmill. Maybe it was the stealing gypsys from Lifetime fitness.

Whole story sounds fishy to me. If I saw somebody wearing a mask in a gym, I would immediately seek help.
There is no way that I would go home to report the assault- especially if it was a BLACK guy!

um..i believe this "gym" is located at the east meadow apartment complex. This is the apartment complex at the corner of Rt50/ majestic lane on the south east corner of the intersection.......the woman fled to her apartment b/c it was so close....
