Impeding flow of traffic

I was wondering if a cop could write a ticket for someone on a 4 lane road, driving under the speed limit in the left lane, which holds up traffic behind them. Would the offense impeding the flow of traffic be written up for 10 under the limit, or is it usually written up for going 20 in a 55 with no just cause (traffic).

in case you didnt notice, cops can get away with doing anything. shooting unarmed people, getting out of DUIs, you name it and they can do it.

Gravis0 old pal doesn't have a case of the ass, does he? Possible(?), yes, you are correct in your statement and the key is holding up traffic and going under the s/l. The offense is Impede the Flow of Traffic.

Reckless driving extends to going under the speed limit as well as over.

PS - the arrest search shows hundreds of tickets for "IMPEDE TRAFFIC FLOW DRIVE TO SLOW", so yes the cops will write you up for it. I don't know the MPH cutoff, but I would think ten under would get you a ticket if you were causing a problem with the flow of traffic. IF you were on the road by yourself I doubt the cops would care, other than to wonder if you were driving impaired.

If you're in the left lane and you're driving under the speed limit and impeding traffic, consider yourself lucky that the cop got to you first. Fucktard. The fact that you even had to ask that question is rediculous. Do everyone a favor and sell your car. Immediately.

I guess because its free, nobody bothers to read the Virginia drivers manual. No wonder there are so many shitty drivers around here, they make thier own rules and then whine on here when they get a ticket for doing something stupid.

Do you meet the following criteria?

1. Driving in the left lane/passing lane?
2. Driving below the speed limit?
3. Driving with cars passing you on the right?
4. Driving while a cop car witnesses the above?

If you said yes to all 4, you're probably going to get a ticket for "Impeding the flow of traffic."

Or cause a major accident and be killed/kill others, whichever comes first.
Also, if you meet that criteria, please do us all a big favor and kill yourself.
