Haslett should have been cut after the first season. He took a perennial Top 10 defense and turned it into a pile of shit. He and Rob Ryan have no fucking business as DCs.

Players play the game. Snyder and Haslett and all the others bear a little blame. Fact is the talent level of the players is woefully low. Now many of the suits making the personnel moves over the years deserve plenty of criticism.

A good coach knows the limitations of his personnel and adjusts the offense/defense accordingly. If you are covering Dez Bryant with a third string DB and you have a key pass rusher out, you might want to consider not using man coverage every fucking play.

The problem for Haslett was everyone on the defense is 3rd string except for Kerrigan

Who would want to coach the skins?
Not a good career choice. Need a parcells type guy who could control the whole thing and have the balls to tell the owner to keep out of it. Problem is, bellichek is the only one I can think of, and he won't leave NE

Snyder is never going to hire a coach with balls. Bellichek might come here for $100 million for 2 years and Snyder would pay it.

Haslett was a good DC in Pittsburgh.
