An open letter to Redskins fans
Posted by: Daniel Snyder ()

Well Redskins faithful, it has been another tough year. It didn't turn out the way we had hoped. But I want to thank all the faithful fans who stuck with the team; especially the season ticket holders, even if you didn't attend the last 12 games, and were trying to sell your tickets on Craigslist for pennies on the dollar.

Now, there have been many angry calls for me to sell the team, under the mis-guided notion that ownership has been the cause of the team's woes for the past 15 years. This just isn't the case. So, let me assure you, loyal Redskins fans, that I have no intention of selling this franchise (it's just too damn profitable). In addition, Robert Griffin is going nowhere; he's my boy, and will be the starting quaterback next year.

But, I will be making some changes. Starting the 2015 season, I will be making up my own plays. If Jim/Jay/John Gruden (or whatever the hell his name is) doesn't like it - well I will just find another coach.

Not only has it been a difficult season on the field, it has been difficult financially, as well. Since concession sales were down this year, I will be raising ticket prices for the 2015 season. Also, you will be required to pay for potential playoff tickets in advance, and we will switch our beer vendor to serve Old Milwaukee on tap. if you do not like these changes, you are free to give up your season tickets - plenty of other Washingtonians would be happy to snatch them up.

Sincerely, your better,

Daniel Synder

Hey Dan,

Thanks for the letter. Always appreciate your thoughts.

You're in luck -- DC-area sports fans continue to be the dumbest of the dumb. They will keep throwing their money your way, regardless of how poorly the Skins perform. They will keep thinking RG3 can be a star, despite his persistent sucktitude. Their senseless over-optimism will line your pockets forever.

Take care!

That's the saddest part of this tragedy. No matter how fucked up this team is, no matter how fucked up the front office is, no matter how fucked up Danny is.......the kool aid drinkers just keep coming back for more.

I honestly don't believe this would go on in any other region of the country that has an NFL team. These bumbling fools would have an empty stadium every sunday anywhere else.

I don't know why these home games are not blacked out. I've turned down free tickets for ten years.

Silly people, I am the real team owner and once again I thank you for keeping my net worth at levels you could only imagine!

There is really only one hope, other than a premature death of the Danny, that will pull this franchise out of the out of control dumpster fire it's in.

We need Snyder to be "Donald Sterling'ed". Somebody needs to hire some slut he cant resist and get her to catch him doing something awful, like calling Indians blood sucking scalpers or RG Me a lazy nigger or something like that and then the NFL owners will band together and force him to sell the team!

Who's in?

Redskins Faithful:

I made a mistake in my open letter, and I would like to clarify. I stated that we would be serving Old Milwaukee at the conecssions during the upcoming seaon.

However, upon consulting with my staff, I now realize this brand of beer is far too exepensive. In accrordance, all consecessions at Fedex Stadium will serve Milwaukee's Best during the 2015 season. I am sure that you will not like this change, but you, season ticket holders, have no choice but to accept it.

Fo those calling for me to be compared to Doland Sterling. Good Luck - I own a team called the Redskins. You think it's going to get any more offensive?

As you all probably know, I just fired Jim Haslett. What you don't know already is that I will be assuming the position of defensive coordinator. You might not like it, but tough - it's my team.

Not any visiting teams I'm interested in seeing.

Home: Dallas, Philadelphia, New York Giants, Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Buffalo, Miami, St. Louis.
