I am not a name expert so I only know the meaning of handful off the top of my head but a quick google search turned up a few answers.
It seems that it is being claimed as Arabic and Yoruba. One says it means exalted one and the other says that it is lucky one.

At the end of the day it's highly likely that he's not worried about how you or anyone else feels unless you're the one signing his checks. Last but not least, after reading all of the negative/racist comments about Wisdom and his family it's very clear that you are thinking about him and his family but I highly doubt that ANYONE (especially Wisdom) would even take the time to start a thread online about you. If you don't like Wisdom then change the channel. Its not that hard. As for his wife, Monifah, quit hating. She's a very pretty woman and more importantly, she's a very intelligent woman. For her name, it is what her parents chose to name her. To them it means something. "A rose by any other name will smell the same". As far as Wisdoms name, perhaps that what his parents chose because they wanted him to have wisdom. All of our names mean something.
