It's horrible. So thankful I live in Reston where every house is a unique architectural masterpiece.

If you don't like a place, don't move there. If you don't like a house, don't buy it. It's not like there's some "next life" that you can wait for and hope to do better in. It's a one-and-done deal here, so be careful how often you cave and sell- out. You'll die with nothing but regrets otherwise.

In a few years, the dreaded Silver Line will have been extended into Loudoun County. You know what that means for schools, quality of life, and property values. Move now, my friend, move now! It's your last chance!

The Silver line stations in Ashburn are a waste of money. Thanks to all the superfluous stations in Tysons it already takes almost 30 minutes to ride from the Reston to East Falls Church (orange line transfer). Riding from Ashburn to East Falls church is going to take like an hour. It will be much faster for people living in Loudoun to drive to Vienna or Dunn Loring.

I live in Reston and never take the Silver Line. Because its faster to drive to one of the orange line stations.

Guffaw! It takes 21 minutes, 17 of which it would take if there were no (heavily used) Tysons stations at all.

Phase-2 will traverse nearly the same actual distance as Phase-1. Figure 40-45 minutes for Ryan Road to EFC. For those wishing to continue on, it's 12 minutes from EFC to Rosslyn, 19 to Metro Center, 24 to L'Enfant Plaza, and 28 to Capitol South.

It isn't now. That trip is lifestyle-destroying nightmare.

Perhaps you live at the Reston Zoo.

And the trains are usually approx 2-5 minutes behind schedule at any given time.

So 21 minutes = about 25 minutes = "almost" 30 minutes

45 minutes = 50 minutes = "almost" an hour

It takes less than 20 minutes to get from Reston to the Vienna metro.

Perhaps you should jam an ice pick into your eye?

You mean the designers have finally figured out where everything BELONGS and quit trying to reinvent the wheel?

I, too, live in Reston. I take a bus to Whiele and commute on the Silver Line daily. I don't drive on weekdays at all.

The convenience is awesome!
