Anyone know what has been happening at Lee High in recent days? Hearing of extra police presence and a student being tazered in the cafeteria.

Hi, I'm a junior here at Lee. Before I begin, none of this has happened at least in the last two years here. Despite what the dumbass who talked to ABC7 on last night's report said, this does not happen at all.

First off, in recent weeks, there have been multiple fights and food fights in school. There has been an incident where a student pulled out a look-alike gun and another with an airsoft, and they were most likely suspended. There has also been one more knife incident. There was a very large fight just outside my homeroom on tuesday, and most likely in the aftermath of this, there were a couple incidents with chents and black kids jumping each other, I think only two incidents. This may have possible gang involvement. Because of all of this, someone (we don't know who) made a shooting threat, which obviously had its effects, displayed by extra cops and our SRO wearing a bulletproof vest, as well as several students being absent yesterday, 17th of December. One person (I don't know much about this part) was arrested in the auxiliary gym yesterday morning.
A PTSA (parent teacher student association) meeting was held in regard to these events. Extra securilty will remain until the end of the week.
Officially, we are not on lockdown, but it's different in our heads.

this is just the local ms-13 population expanding operations in the greater springfield area, nothing to really worry about. Lee is close to the mall, so of course they are branching out. They need a base of operations since its x-mas shopping season and the area is ripe with gringos to rob at the mall.

He is a junior, what he didn't tell you is that he's 19.

That's not the same demographics Robert E. Lee oversaw when he was President of Washington College back in 1870

Behavior issues at Lynbrook and Key Middle are swept under the carpet. There are very hostile and angry kids.

The ELem. Schools and key need to start letting kids with fake finger guns know, it isn't cool to play gangsta.

I am a sophomore at lee. Tell me....how the fuck can a security guard take a student to the ground and hold him in a choke hold. Saw it with my own eyes. How the fuck can they do that and nothing happen to them. Broke shit up, turned over chairs. Then they expell the student. I hate this fucking place.

When I went to school in ffx 30 years ago, there were maybe 50 blacks, only about a half dozen were nigs, if that many, no mexicans, a handful of Asians, everyone spoke good english, and the majority of problem kids were white. But we did have a school narc who flunked out of the police dept named Mr Stark (we didn't have cops at school) who would tell lies about kids to their parents. The kids getting high didn't get caught
And students had a smoking lounge
Glad my schools done
