Police say the lockdown of a Leesburg, Virginia, high school after a report of an armed person on the campus turned out to be a false alarm.
Loudoun County High School was placed on lockdown just before 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Family Plans Suit After Man Killed by Deputy
According to police, a school security guard thought he saw a student outside with a gun, but the only thing he had was a pair of headphones.
The student has been released from police custody.
