I'm sorry. I meant to say most students coming from a "top law school" (as this is the subject of this thread, right?).
For those that graduated from "top law schools", $80k would be a disappointment and probably means they didn't get a decent clerkship or summer associate gig at a big firm. For example, if you went to law school at Regent, you are probably making $80k or were the former convicted Governor of Virginia.
