MOVE OVER - SLOW DOWN: Two of our own Virginia State Troopers were transported to the hospital this afternoon after a pickup truck struck their cruiser from behind pushing them into a concrete wall. A third vehicle then struck the cruiser in the front passenger side. The cruiser was on the shoulder at the time. Please assist emergency crews, motorist assist and construction personnel by moving over and slowing down. Help them help you.

I'm so ashamed that as hard as I try, I can't come up with anything but agreement with this. I don't fuck up much, but the few times I've been pulled over for something minor, these guys are jackasses. I'm pleased a couple got knocked around a bit.

If you've ever had trouble with cops, there's a very good chance that you're a major asshoke prick. Here's hoping you got or get the beat down that losers like you deserve.

Worst thing I've ever been pulled over for was expired registration. First day of the month, had the stickers on the seat next to me. "Yes, sir." "No, sir." "Yes that probably would have been a good idea."

We got feelings as well

They went off to SWAT team military school and went from "To Protect and Serve" to "To Harass and Detain". There went the "community relationship" thing.

Troopers own damn fault. They could have told the driver they wanted to ticket to pull up to the next exit. But no, they want to stop along the interstate to generate the maximum amount of attention and slow traffic to a crawl.

Last time I was pulled over by a Trooper (or any cop) was around 1995). I had been talking on a headset on my phone that only covered one ear. I saw him pull out after me and removed the headset long before he came anywhere near my vehicle. When he pulled me over he asked if I knew why he did - "No Officer."


I pulled you over because it appeared you were wearing a headset. I showed him the headset on the passenger seat "you mean like this one?" I asked. Yes he said, you should not be wearing a headset. "is it illegal to wear a one earphone headset for a phone while driving?" I asked. "No but it will be soon..." the officer replied.

There was an awkward silence for a moment then I asked "So officer may I ask why you pulled me over then?" He just handed me my documentation back and said I was free to go.

Honestly I was younger then and talking on the phone in your car was still not fully the norm yet so, yes I was indulging talking on the phone while driving. The use of a headset was an attempt to make it safer to do while driving. I try very hard not to use the phone while driving now. When I do I use ear buds or speaker phone and limit conversations to a few minutes.

Moral of the story is yes troopers can be butt heads

It brought warmth to my heart seeing that picture of the smashed up cruiser.


Just like what one poster pointed it, they will act like assholes and pull someone over on the shoulder, knowing full well what may happen. They are itching to harass people and couldn't wait for the driver to take an exit I suppose.

I want to know if the cruiser had it noise pointed out in traffic blocking a lane. That would explain how the accident happened.

Police are so negligent the way they park cruisers in traffic. I've seen cruiser just stopped in the middle of road with no lights on. I'm not surprised these cruiser get hit.

since i only see mexicans and asians heading toward obama land (when i look, not theoretically: i mean with my eyes)

my guess is it was a hit job to get rid of them, cause rising costs, and replace the officers with spics or "criminal friendly" cops

would not be the first hit job in DC by a foreigner using a car
