A minor alcohol problem

FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) -- A Fairfax County woman faces charges of providing alcohol to a minor after police say a 12-year-old became intoxicated.

WRC-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1uoWsrr ) that according to search warrants, Maria Bernal Cabrera gave multiple shots of liquor last week to the child. Cabrera then allegedly left the child to buy more alcohol.

The child was later taken to a hospital with a blood alcohol content of .139. In Virginia, it's illegal for an adult to drive with a blood alcohol content over .08
