Good question. I did some Googling and it seems he really isnt doing much
other than being one of Obama's cheerleaders. Of course the "ConMan" is
going to keep a low profile for a while so he can get to work on granting
unconditional amnesty to illegal aliens, ignoring the Second Amendment,
and helping his cronies make millions. Predictable. Watch for H. R. 45 in
his agenda.

Here's one source to what he's been doing:

He's a freshman congressman for fuck's sake....it takes years to advance in that den of thieves. My bathroom is probably bigger than his office.

I don't know why the sumbitch even wanted the job....he was MUCH more powerful as BOS Chairman. He was #1 in Fairfax county, now he's #435 in Congress. But maybe with the developers on the ropes, it's more lucrative to sell his congressional vote to the lobbyists?

As a member of Congress/Senate, he now has Health Insurance and a modest pension for life. Its a great gig if you can land it. Work six years and your set for the rest of your life.

He'll be gone in 2010 when the Repubs come storming back, and as usual, have to clean up (while taking the blame) the delightful diarrhea explosion the Dems will have left from coast to coast.

No since screwing up Fairfax he wants to try tackling the rest of the country. Why make things hard on 1 million when you can do to to 300 million and have better perks.

I stand corrected, two years he has to work to get the lifetime benefits. Senators serve six year terms. Thanks BayJee.

I understand Connolly is also working hard to achieve "Voting Rights" for
DC. What a crock. Not only do they (DC residents) have one of the most
corrupt city governments in the country, but just imagine Statehood.
(the next step on their agenda)

Senator Marion Barry, Senator Jessie Jackson, Governor Al Sharpton,
the list goes on. If anyone thinks Jackson and Sharpton wouldnt move
here just to run for public office, I'd say they were very naive.

Yeah, what a crock that US citizens get to vote for their representatives. What a crock of shit. The nerve of these people!

If they want to live in a representative democracy, move to Europe!

U! S! A! U! S! A!

Sure, that way the only people left in DC will be those who can't afford to move... and every red-blooded American knows those damn poor people don't count and shouldn't be allowed to vote anyway!

Good point.

The Republicans here don't realize their party lost 51 seats in the House and 14 seats in the Senate between 2006 and today.

I mean, if things were going so well, how'd this happen?

Gerry Connelly - He's great! We thank him so much for running to congress after he bankrupted Fairfax County. Do you think him leaving had anything to do with him selling his soul to lower taxes to such a rate that the county could not afford? Try yes. He has screwed the citizens today and for the future. All to get elected. Thanks Gerry! By the way - you hit any cars lately?
