Tysons has had crime over the years as well---carjackings, robberies (Google it). There is going to be crime at any of these places. If you go to any city center or shopping district you are going to have to be careful. This is life in urban America. If you are afraid, stay home.

I just went to the new Springfield Mall. Just like Tysons. Maggianos, Macy's, Yard bar or whatever it is, Forever 21 don't suck. And I didn't see any Liddz or crap like that. Also no athletic shoe stores so if thugs wanna go there they'll be pretty dissapointed and find Justice. They've done a good job and it's only phase one.

There is a Champ's, Footlocker, and Dick's Sporting Goods currently open at Springfield Mall. All three of these stores sell athletic shoes. A Finish Line will open soon that will also sell athletic shoes!

Springfield is a work in progress, just like DC was in the 80s. Anyone remember going to a bar or restaurant in NE or SE back then? NO WAY! When DC burned in the 60s everyone left. But look at dc now, Nats Park, good stores, etc. Will take time, but on its way.
