nah... you know it's a bad storm if it takes out the power for more than 5 minutes unless your area is a POS in which case a day. if it knocks out the power for 12 hours, that's a hurricane or tornado. for your POS areas, it would be three weeks.

I recorded it all on Video.
I wish I had multiple cameras though, because I could only keep it aimed at a small portion of the sky, while lightning broke all over.
I was able to catch a few whoppers though, I uploaded it to my comp and then watched it in slowmo frame-by-frame.
Pretttty cool.

Today I was on 66 and the banding of today's storm was ridiculous. I would literally drive through 1/4 mile of nothing, and then 1/4 mile of some of the hardest rain I've ever been in. And that kept happening for a few hours.

i dont know how long you have lived here but i assure you that was far from hard rain. hard rain is when EVERYONE has their emergency lights blinking, obviously headlights on and you cant see past 30ft. ive driven in that... that's quality rain. :)

i dont know how long you have lived here but i assure you that was far from hard rain. hard rain is when EVERYONE has their emergency lights blinking, obviously headlights on and you cant see past 30ft. ive driven in that... that's quality rain. :)

Fucking awful rain again today at around 3, and some guy comes flying past me and starts weaving around the cars ahead in all three lanes when I was going 55 on 28, easily in the 70's speedwise.... Maybe we should just ban driving in the rain at all since some assholes can't figure out it is dangerous.

During a snowstorm is 2005, I was driving down that huge hill on New Braddock, some guy in an SUV comes flying by going 90 easy. Swerves off road, around 2 streetlights, loses bumper on end of bridge...
