I passed through Triangle on my way home the other day and was disappointed to find that there was nothing triangular about it whatsoever.

Scarecrow: The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side. Oh joy! Rapture! I got a brain! How can I ever thank you enough?
Wizard of Oz: You can't.

You mean a right-angled triangle, not isosceles. Otherwise a^2 = b^2 + c^2 -2bc cosine theta.

With the amount of crashes the faggots around here cause there, you'd think it was some sort of fucked up shape.

I always thought it was that stupid little area with the stores between the NB and SB lanes of Route 1.

Isn't it?

I did hear of a non-triangular yet pointy head passing through Triangle and posting about it on a Fairfax County-specific forum.

Hard to say, that strip is home to the Dumfries Shopping Plaza, the Triangle Shopping Plaza, and Harley-Davidson of Quantico. I'm not sure anyone down there knows where they are.
