Driving around here on federal holidays is downright pleasant

Fuck all those government workers! My commute took half the time it normally does today because the roads were practically empty.

Us productive private sector employees that work hard to grow the GDP and strengthen the economy thank you shiftless, worthless government employees for staying off the roads today!

Wooo! Empty roads also mean I burn less fuel and waste less time. Love it.

Without them you wouldn't have a job.

My 6:00am commute was much better, but by lunchtime they were all out on the road screwing up traffic. It's not like they all vaporize on days like this, they just change location. The ride home was only slightly better than normal.

Bull. Somebody's got to do the work. It certainly isn't the Government.

Where do you work Mcd's? Most respectable jobs let their employees take off today.

We get floating holidays. Rather than take off on days like today, which is a waste, I'm using them to take off Christmas week rather than use up vacation, and carry that vacation over into next year.

As a gov't contractor, I didn't have the day off.

I got into work early due to no traffic.

I accomplished a lot of my work without blue badges changing my priorities every few hours. They do that to give themselves a sense of worth because they don't do any real work.

I put in a full productive day.

Can we make every Tuesday a federal holiday?

You do realize that you couldn't meet the minimum requirements for most government jobs? That selling more widgets is not some grand endeavor? Mostly people who post garbage of this sort are bitter wash-outs coming to confront at last the fact that their own lives are and will continue to be examples of pedestrian insignificance and failure. So sorry for you, man.

And you are literally stupid, Nancy. Just another empty-headed dumbfuck in a world that has too many of those already. Take a class somewhere, bitch. Get smarter. A whole lot smarter.

And where does the money come from to run the government in the first place? That's right........ the rest of America.
