Mclean, Great Falls, and Vienna are probably all wealthier than Tysons Corner. Tysons just has big malls and office buildings, it's not a place where rich people live, there's not much housing other than apartments.

I live in Vienna, so of course we are wealthier than Tysons.

The only advantage would be that it's a convenient location. It's definitely not
upscale unless you're only seeing the mall or fancy office buildings. There's really not much housing or night life around there.

there aren't really any million dollar homes in Tysons, you'd have to live somewhere more residential. tysons is for apartment dwellers, not families looking for single family homes.

I would get a nice townhome in Old Town if I had a $4,200/month rental budget. If I had to be in an apartment at that cost, It sure wouldn't be Tysons.

I'd rather live in a 2,000 a month apartment on Old Town than a 2 million dollar home in Centreville

Until you're convicted of something fairly serious, you can live where you want and can afford. If it's around here, it will be in the middle of a lot of diversity and traffic. Oh, and liberals.
