Some of the most interesting notes:
1) Public urination and defecation is legal in Virginia (Contingent upon local jurisdiction)
2) If you are obeying all traffic laws and accidentally plow into someone on the road, you have committed no crime
3) Embezzlement is the "best" crime you can commit. It takes a long time to detect (if it's detected at all), and since it's considered a "white collar crime", usually the sentence is only a few years in jail at most - sometimes with probation.
4) Our instructor's advice on embezzlement: "If you're going to do it, do it BIG!"

2) What about "failure to pay full time and attention"? If, in any way, you are the cause of the accident, you fail this one because, if you were "paying attention" you could have stopped/swerved/avoided the other car.
If you are not the cause of the accident, there's a good chance that you won't be charged anyway.

It is entirely possible that you could be driving the speed limit down a residential street, and suddenly a kid can jump in front of your car, chasing a ball into the street. Depending on how far ahead of you he is, even if you slam on the brakes, you may hit the poor kid and kill him.
Some things are just unfortunate accidents, and the state law allows for that.

there is no such thing as a poor (unfortunate) kid when it comes to accidents they cause. there are only kids with common sense and kids that are fools. there are too many fools on this planet, we need to stop trying to protect them all. if your kid is foolish enough to die from putting a plastic bag on their head or run into traffic, they got what they deserved.
