blackbaord is down FCPS Site

My teacher wants me to complete my homework by 11:59 pm, and blackboard is down is she allowed to give an 0 on his assignment worth 50 points?

Blackboard is a national provider to both K-12 and colleges. They do have issues and sometimes the issues are specific to a school system or a part of a school systems module.

The best thing you can do is attempt to grab a screen shot of the response and email the teacher and explain the site was down. If the assignment is something you have as a stand alone document, email it directly to the teacher.

Hopefully the teacher will be accommodating, however, if you have a history for not getting assignments in on time, then do not get your hopes up.

But when technology is involved, you can have all sorts of issues from your computer or processing device, your Internet connect to something larger like Blackboard.

It sucks to run into these issues, but you need to figure a way to communicate the issue to the teacher and work around any road blocks if possible.
