Macys Springfield Mall Cupcakes

What were in those cupcakes for a bunch of people to wait in line for like they were in Georgetown? Seriously thought a riot was going to break out when the lady told everyone they would have to wait until 1:30 before they could have one. Where did they come from for that type of line?
