Haveing direct information from officials and knowing the truth about this girl and the girl from Fairfax HS. Both unfortuatly took their own lives. The details of the girl from Fairfax HS are not somthing that should be known to the public. Its not pretty. As for this girl from Robinson HS It has been confirmed that this was not an accident. may both of these sweet young ladies find peace now.

Very cowardly for you to make such a deliberate hurtful comment knowing you can hide behind this digital anonymity.

Brooke was my step daughter's best friend and an all around great young person.

I get it you don't care simply because you don't know, god man other people do.

I hope one day you'll grow the fuck up, but until you do....

GO TO HELL

Can you please at least provide some general info to dispel all the speculation like:

-Was bullying involved?
-Was it suicide as performance art?

Thank you for any info you can share.

I was on the train on my way home after months away from my family. When the accident happened and all the lights went out, no one on the train knew what happened even the crew members. As the very, very limited information trickled through the cars, The police began walk up and down the outside of the train with flashlights as it was pitch black, even using some from the train itself. you could see the concern in everyone as the crew ran up and down trying to find out the answers themselves and keep everyone calm. One crew member was extremely shaken up and taken care of by the Fire/EMS. As the few of us started to find what we could on our phones we where told it was a crime scene and we could not move. After sometime we where told there was an accident and a fatality my heart sank. As time went on details began to emerge(this site being one of the first I could find on my phone). There will always be questions but I know I will never forget that night.I Wish that what ever led her to be there on that night that her heart reaches a state of peace and that her family remembers all the good things that she has done and the good memories

I'm in her grade. Well was. Anyway, I never really was close to her. I was on the football and basketball team and she was in Orchestra so we never really crossed paths. She dated this guy in my gym class they both seemed pretty fine. They went on a "break" with each other like any other high school bullshit relationship. Any way, this other girl called her a slut cause Brooke was wearing shorts that had her ass hanging out or whatever. Typical girl conflict in high school or whatever. The thing was she wasn't even slurry and her friends weren't even remotely close to that either. Anyway I don't think it's the girls fault that called her slutty. I can't really speculate but her best friend said they hung out the day the tragedy happend and she seemed apparently fine and happy. She either was extremely depressed and did a good job hiding it, or was on some drug. She said she was going to run away that night according to her friend but I guess she had other thoughts . this marks the 11th teen suicide in Fairfax County this past year. Isn't that fucking amazing. And the school board and government don't give a shit and won't even ask us students why we drink, smoke, self harm in some cases. They all need a reality check.

You're the retards running away, getting hit by trains and drinking and smoking and causing self harm....

And they're the ones who need a reality check?

Good luck to you in the real world kids. There won't be enough trains for all of you so you better hurry!!

So tell us...

Why do you drink, smoke and self harm?

Then you'll have to ignore all the responses by people who use FFXU to hurt others.

Wake up at 530,half asleep during 1st period with the teacher fucking slapping down a 12 page packet to do. What a wonderful start to day. I'm totally looking forward to the rest of the day. You realize my generation is the most pushed and the most demanded of as far as education right. You do realize getting a b is equivalent to getting a d now right If you even want to get into a decent college. To get into uva you need a 4.3 GPA at the least. On top of all that were expected to maintain perfect grades have a social life, participate in extracurricular activities and still function properly. We fucking work more hours than any of you
720 to 220 plus sports plus the 4 hours of homework we get. The difference is that after a long day of work you guys can open up a beer and relax. We don't have that option. You guys don't need to deal with all the cliques and judgemental fucks in high school and you sure as hell dont have as much mood swings as us. Not to mention I'm gonna have to pay off 200k of college loans and my parents retirement is gonna be fucked up. The economy wasnt booming like it was when you guys were around. Grades weren't as inflated then like they are now and there were a hell of a lot more jobs more available back then. You guys had it easy in your generation. A recent science study said the average teen stress level today is equal to a person locked up in a mental asylum in the 70s. And the school board and the fuckers who make the curriculum don't even ask the students on any input whatsoever. That's awesome right?

for any high school student reading this - PLEASE - take a moment and take a deep breath. You HAVE to realize that your 'world' right now in high school is NOT the real world. There are plenty of great colleges that you can attend. and honestly - if you can somehow try to accept the fact that you can ignore a lot of the needless stress that you allow in your life (like social media), you will be much happier. It is possible to be a teenager today and NOT become so obsessed with social media -I know teens who ignore social media and they are MUCH happier. And as far as being stressed because a teacher gives you a 12 page packed to complete - adjust your priorities a bit. You are a student in high school - they are going to give you work to do. Spend less time on Twitter/Instagram/Snapchat/ETC and more time focusing on higher priorities. because the bottom line is no matter how much 'your generation' complains about stress, no one is going to give you a gold star and/or a pass and/or even a pat on the back. Life is hard - get used to it and start working on developing some coping skills.

Now, didn't the school do a recent survey to get students' perspective? How would you suggest they do it? Maybe it's up to you? Maybe you could be a spokesman? Maybe run for student body. If they need a voice, maybe it should be yours? I hear you.

I already did you stupid fuck scroll up a little you should see my rant. As far as the school board not caring, they flat out don't know half the shit that goes on in Fairfax County high schools. They base their input by us on that dumbass survey they give us every 2 years. That's where they get their drug use info on which is totally bullshit. They say 10 percent of teens in ffx smoke weed when the real need is like 60%

Student body is a joke. The only power they have is spirit days and Homecoming planning. That anonymous survey they gave us is a fucking joke as well. Do you honestly think the school board reads all of those surveys or just claim they do to save face. I honestly laughed at the fact the county gets teen statistics from a stupid survey that everyone lies on anyway.

yea, that is ridiculous. all I know, is there is a better place to live than wrapped up in stress and worry. you have to look for it. really look for a different way to live. No one else can make a difference in the stress we carry. we can only change what we do in response to what they do.

With all due respect, maybe the reason so much is demanded of your generation education-wise is because you have THE F*CKING INTERNET at your disposal. You have knowledge and philosophical insight at your fingertips that most people throughout history could have taken over the world with. Instead you use it to whine ad nauseam about how 'pressured' you are.

You are definitely onto something about the older generations being lazy sacks of shit, but instead of whining about it, realize that you will graduate and take away their jobs: because you actually know the meaning of hard work.

Well said, honestly. I'm at least 20 years your senior and high school sucked...and I don't think I felt this pressure. Rest assured, it gets better. Someone echoed earlier something my mom once told me when I was 16 and told her I thought high school was supposed to be the best years of my life...so why does it suck? She said, oh no, that's college and then it's better in different ways after that. I appreciate this perspective and even though I hate the shit out of you at 7-11 or on the roads, hang in there!

I don't understand why these hurtful comments are being made. I cannot come up with any idea of what you are gaining from being a boorish malicious person. This was someone's daughter and someone's sister, the fact that people wished it wasn't Brooke was human nature, they were not wishing bad upon someone else. Now if you could stop wasting your time trying to make people that already feel like crap feel worse, and do something to better society or yourself, it would be greatly appreciated.
