These? Is that thing on the right a house or a shed? That must be the smallest house in Fairfax County. It looks like a house for elves. Even though it's small it still probably goes for $100,000. Comes with a TV antenna though!

This house and others like it, even ones like that mother in law shed, used to be common housing before the county was turned into a giant rats maze of subdivisions. The design wasn't colloquial or unique but all who lived in them called them home. Lots of them were built on by former GIs.

$100,000 is too cheap, in that area it's the land that's expensive not the home

in the 80's a home cost $30k-$60k (nice) to build

with a $100k house on it how much? probably $800k +

so it's worth well more than $100k is the point

Lol. Whatever.

Several of those lots were sold off as a "multi - parcel" deal in the mid 2000's, but the deal w/the developer crashed and burned. Lots 'n lots of wild rumors about payoffs, pressure on officials, etc.

That dollhouse used to be the home of famed midget porn star Little Lotte.

2 feet tall and could take 3 feet of big black dick!

Do you realize that asbestos type materials are naturally occurring in the ground in Northern Virginia?

"For example, the Fairfax County Health Department, Va., developed an asbestos exposure control plan that is mandated for use in construction projects that excavate "asbestos containing material" (ultramafic rock bodies) within the county (Dusek and Yetman, 2002)."

But that house on the right doesn't get digital tv as mandated by the federal government. You would have to replace it with a clear tv antenna.

It's 11901 Lee Hwy. I've never noticed that little house with the antenna and chimney out front. I wonder if that was a kid's play house.

From the FFX County Tax Assessment site:

Shed or Storage 180 SQ. FT. 100%
Summer Hse or Cotge or Gst Hse 360 SQ. FT. 100%
Summer Hse or Cotge or Gst Hse 48 SQ. FT. 100%

No water, sewer or gas--and assessed at $390k.

"colloquial" -- I don't think that word means what you think it means. But perhaps you're using it in some oblique manner. Explain?

Hello, I was just wondering, can you truly move in to abandon houses, clean them up and make them a home? I have NOWHERE To live. And not enough credit to buy a home. Can't get any help. Please let me know if that's possible and legal. I will clean, pay on time and definitely make said place in to a home. Thank you
