Actually, the MLB Channel is NOT part of the standard FiOS offerings; it comes in a premium tier. It is well worth the extra cost, though, it you are a true baseball fan. While I might not have been able to afford to purchase that tier many years ago, I can do so now, and I am thankful for that.

Yeah. It kind of sucks that baseball is only available to those who have cable and can afford to pay for premium cable channels. It seems sort of short-sighted for Major League Baseball, which should want to build its audience for the future. I presume, though, (hope?) that they are smart enough to look at the economics of it and make a decision that's right for the sport's present and future.

Let's hope the Nats cam come back and win the next two games so we can be treated to the possibility of an Orioles-Nationals World Series!
