My old parents NEW TV REMOTES all don't work on Microsoft COX cable

just days ago the one that came with the (smart) tv did smart tv and the cable box "well enough"

The two older COX remotes - neighther work. the newest remote (3rd) bought by my sister from the chinese as a "cure" DOES NOT WORK (it has an lcd graphics display)

NONE OF THEM WORK

WHO DO I FUCKING KILL. I AM NOT FUCKING SPENDING ALL DAY FOR REMOTE DETECTION.

I WANT THESE ASSHOLE CHINESE WHO KEEP HACKING BOXES TO KILL REMOTES TO BE DEAD, AS IN DEATH, AS IN NO LONGER.

My poor parents just want to watch the news and infrequently change the channel on THE CABLE TV THEY PAY OUT THE ASS MONTHLY FOR - which is part of the HOA

THE HOA - ANOTHER FUCKING DEVIL and no one in USA isn't complaining

i've spent my time on remote control detection with COX - hours and hours of my life bled away spilling blood on bullshit

IT USUALLY MOSTLY FAILS - after several tries partly works still highly broken. that was in the past. presently, the tv and box are "so highly versioned and updated" i am damn sure even finding the "remote detection instructions" won't be possible let alone spend hours detecting re-detecting all to find it's still broken

THEY ALL HAVE FRESH BATTERIES BECAUSE ... someone keeps buying them thinking that might help

(we are talking remote new enough it still has good battery never removed and TV and cable which have never been unplugged since it was last working. i don't mind 1x detection on initial purchase of a unit i decided to pain myself with. on the other hand i didn't "choose the cable box", the f'ing HOA did)

oh the long list of past TV remotes and LED TV remotes and cable box remotes for the SEVERAL CABLE BOXES cox has forced my parents to pay for (despite smart TV is cheap as hell AND ALLOT BETTER) i'm not mentioning. all made in china bitch.

the "new box" made in china (1-2 years installed) has NO BUTTONS to INSURE that it can only be operated by the one fucking thing that nearly never works: chinese remotes. the 4 remotes are all new also (1 might be from last box). new as in not needed a battery since the batt. hasn't been in that long.

I'VE NEVER GIVEN A CABLE COMPANY MONEY - only internet providers before cable companies offered internet

I KNOW WHAT SACKS OF SHIT THEY ARE

i know what a sack of shit paying $150/mo for cable is. My parents did it instead of investing: AND NOW I AM IN A POOR FAMILY (though i told parents that the service price was far too high)

may they rot in hell for impoverishing me and giving me the scraps of "hours of remote programming that lead to still not working remotes"
