i was reading the dulles wiki article and it said:

On June 18, 1994, a Learjet 25 operated by Mexican carrier TAESA crashed in trees while approaching the airport from the south. Twelve people died. The passengers were planning to attend the 1994 FIFA World Cup soccer games being staged in Washington, D.C.

FWIW, you can search the NTSB database for accident reports. Interesting site, albeit quite morbid.

Here's the report for this one. It sounds like the pilot screwed up on the approach during bad weather.

The only info I have is, on June 18, 1994, a Learjet 25 operated by Mexican carrier TAESA crashed in trees while approaching the airport from the south. Twelve people died. The passengers were planning to attend the 1994 FIFA World Cup soccer games being staged in Washington, D.C.

I wish I could tell you more about this world-changing event that happened fifteen years ago.

This plane crashed inside the fence for Dulles, but short and to the east of the runway (kinda parallel to RTE 28 and across from Sully Plantation. You really had to look through the trees to even see it and it was within the boundaries of Dulles, so it wasn't a major story....
