Of which approximately 500 were/will be suicides. Self chosen. Do you deny another’s right to determine the ultimate path of their own life?

The political banality aside, the Nations Gun Show in Chantilly, Virginia has become increasingly disappointing. Actual firearm sellers are in the minority compared to the number of vendors selling accessories, ammunitions, military surplus, knives, books, targets, and so many unrelated knick knacks that can just as easily be purchased on the Internet at a more competitive price point.

The major firearm dealers focus their sales on high volume, mid-range, black pistols (mostly Glock) and AR platform rifles. There is little variation in pricing between business, which would tend to indicate elements of price fixing. On my recent visit, I examined the selection and pricing for the Sig Sauer P365 between eleven vendors. A single vendor was selling the pistol for $479, four priced the pistol at $499, and the remainder priced it at $549 (MSRP).

Some vendors are disingenuous in their sticker pricing. While sales tax and the standard $2 record check fee are assumed, some will add a transfer fee and/or an additional one to three percent when paying by credit card. I advise asking for the out-the-door price before agreeing to terms.

Finally, the admission charge is now $16. You'll need to factor that into the price of anything you buy.

You obviously have no appreciation for the selection offered of beef jerky, pickles, t-shirts, patches, Chinese stun guns, carved wooden boxes, and paracord accessories, not to mention the marshmallow guns.

Seriously, be a good shopper. Know what you're looking for and do the research. Yesterday I was in search of a very specific firearm. I checked the manufacturers' web page and found a MSRP of $700 just for reference. GunBroker showed them selling new at around $545 plus shipping plus FFL check and transfer. I found two of them NIB at the show. Starting at $525, I talked the seller down to $485 plus tax and the standard $2 check fee. Even taking the entrance fee into account, it was still a good price.

I also picked up extra mags. $45 retail, I paid $26.

If you're (literally) one of the great unwashed masses walking in ignorant and uninformed, buying impulsively or being convinced by the sales droid, you're going to lose. And the Chinese made scopes are all shit.

Now get back to washing that Slurpee machine. Break time is over.

Stop at the nearest 7-11 and purchase a slurpee! You’ll feel so much better! Don’t forget to bring one home for the loved ones, too!
That way, she might not shoot you after seeing how much you spent for self-defense.

Since I live within 5 minutes of these Gun shows at the Expo Center:

1. The best day of the month for me is the day after these shows are finished and all these jacked up pukes from DC, MD, Penn and other parts and surrounding states are out of this area.

2. Watched a bunch of these retards from #1 above pumping gas at the local Sunoco right next to the Expo Center and thought "How many leaving this show have loaded guns in their car right now?"

3. Thought back several years when these retards from #1 above will "Enter Hooters and shoot a girl friend in the foot?"

4. How many more shootings will take place in DC next weekend. Thoughts.
Who cares!

5. Many don't realize that they have no chance if someone breaks in there house at gun point in the middle of the night. Buy a German Shepherd - a much better form of defense. Maybe you slip with your weapon under your pillow, then will you shoot a family member? Maybe or ?

6. Shoot yourselves please, then next gun show the parking lot will be less crowded. On second thought, who cares!

Now that the Breezeway motel is getting torn down where will the gun dealers make their sales to felons? Maybe the Best Western?

Have you surveyed people going in?

I had a loaded gun in my car. I did not carry it into the show. I usually have a loaded gun in my car. Does that worry you?

There's never been a shooting at that Hooters. Do you wish for one to happen?

And what VA laws will change that?

My gun is kept loaded and readily accessible, but not under my pillow. When something goes bump, I investigate with it in hand. The police are 20 minutes away at best. None of my guns have ever shit on the floor. (Can your mom say that about you?) Your spelling reeks of FCPS.

I thought you were against suicide.

wow, one fukin shooting from 7 years ago. It’s amazing that you’ve been cowering in your basement this whole time. I usually attend the show and I’ve never seen any of which has your panties in a bind. Did you know that %99.9 of gun dealers will not sell to anyone from out of state out of an abundance of caution with violating state laws on both sides? Kind of debunks what ever it is you think happens in the real world

Everything you cite are careless and irresponsible discharges. You cannot legislate common sense or careful behavior. You may pass a law which is used to prosecute after the fact.

Your approach would be akin to removing cars from responsible owners to deal with drunk drivers.

Facts:
1) There are 400M+ unregistered guns in the US.
2) Criminals will continue to have guns despite laws forbidding them from doing so.
3) The police cannot and will not protect us.

Your solution is ineffective and impractical.

The coward hiding in his basement implied all those accidental shootings happen at every Dulles gun show, yet I notice none of them acutually did. With an estimated 300,000,000 guns in private hands there are going to be some accidents, not unlike owning a car. Anyone care to list all the non fatal car accidents that happen every year?

It was asked earlier, how many people are murdered every year with a gun in this country. Yet you libtardz keep ignoring it. Wonder why.

If you libtardz really want your eyes opened, Google accidental cop shootings. It's especially hilarious how many of them accidentally shoot themselves.

It's also been pointed out how you libtardz believe in this population time bomb bullshit. How can you believe in such, while crying about something that's barley in the top 20 causes of death?

Libtardz would be nothing if not hypocritical

Pro gun people seem to fantasize about their guns a lot. It is sad that they must live their lives in constant fear. I feel really sorry for them as they make themselves victims.

Question about courier and cargo Cheap Courier Insurance. How are the types of risks determined? Are there significant differences in the insurance of fragile cargo - household appliances or glass, for example, and cargo made of metal or plastic? What does the general policy do, what is it responsible for? Who has experience with this? Prompt with what firms cooperated. What problems could be?

I always get a laugh when they talk about their fantasy of someone breaking into their house tying them up and raping their wife in front of them. Guntards play that one in their heads over and over.

Because you don't have a wife? Why don't you man up and go to the gun show and tell them what you think? You will be so sad when you get the beat down and no guns were drawn

Make sure you have updated your will before going to the gun show. And keep in mind that having a gun in your home will increase your odds of dying from a gunshot wound by a factor of nearly four.

I would like to go to the gun show but I am afraid. They don't allow loaded weapons inside the building. A couple years ago I locked my gun in my truck and went inside, after about half an hour I started to tremble in fear and wanted to start crying. I ran as fast as I could back to my truck so I could hold my beloved gun. I will never go anywhere without at least one gun on me again.

Here's your chance to become one of this year's nearly 40,000 gun-related deaths in this country. Some of them will be victims of suicide. Some of them will be victims of homicide. Some them will be victims of an accidental shooting. All of them will be dead.

That Chantilly gun show has gotten very tired. The lack of competitive pricing illustrates apparent collusion between the vendors, An increasing number of vendors are not selling firearms. Rather, they sell Chinese-made accessories (holsters, range bags, clothing, knives, optics, flashlights, etc) easily obtained online at a discount.

And then there's the fear and hype that drive the market. One of my favorites is the guy selling body armor with a sign that says it will SOON BE OUTLAWED. He's been using the same sign of a decade.

Worst of all is the crowd...unless you are into people watching. The place is full of fatties, neckbeards, and rednecks. The woman below (snap taken from WUSA9) says it all.

I made a bundle some dude named DAJAX bought 10 grand worth , a nice threesome of older Black ladies helped him carry them off to his battered pickup, said something bout heading down Richmond Hull Street .. Church Hill they had been at Willards and they raved about the Cuban sandwich and all the BBQed hog meats slaw tater salad greens and corn bread. That DAJAX can sure eat even though hes a old guy the dude was at least 6-7 300 some and was wearing a T shirt that had "IF THEY CANT TAKE A JOKE IM FU..KED" under a Galco Jackass shoulder rig for a 4 ".44 Smith empty and sealed with a zip tie by security with a couple of speed loader pouches , no guns allowed inside as people try guns in holsters at the show !

And soon it will be Gone ! After July 1st when the new Va laws take place Fairfax will be given the authority to write their won gun laws once again and they will bring back the 3 day wait, make it 7 or 10 or 30 . It was back in the day a 3 day wait dealers had to drop off the info cards on buyers to FCPD HQ and after 72 hours if no calls to stop the sale came in they could transfer the hand gun which the waiting period was for, now you know it will be for any gun as there's not many dealers in Fairfax today and they don't care a bit how their sales decline so the gun show will be packing up to greener pastures like in Madison county . Prince William will probably start a 2 day wait for handguns and Arlington and Alex will follow Fairfax, Loudoun will follow PW with handgun sales I say.

Clark Brothers will be onto their next million dollar year! Hurray! They have been slow for a good while, their old glass counters will be filled up with handguns once again just as they were when I was a young un way back , many excited first time gun buyers will be able to get that Glock and go behind Clarks to blast away at targets ! With 10 round mags natch and not a single life will be saved , well maybe a few as people cool off waiting for the gun but how can that be measured ? No "assault weapons" to be seen till either SCOTUS rules or 2 years pass

DAJAX Been There Done That Too Crowded , Too High In Price But FUN and then theres Willards to Pig Out and Burger King Has Jack In The Box Tacos ! Not a Bad Deal !

Can't wait to see government impose a waiting period before going to church or a limit on how many times you can go to church in a month.

If they're going to regulate one part of the Bill of Rights, why not all of them?

For that matter, why bother obeying the Constitution or any law at all?

Wait... My bad. Government has already exempted itself from having to obey laws already...

Un Constitutional Democrats who scream about rules of law and the constitution then destroy both of them to show their pure hypocrisy in action.

Your right what's the difference if its the 2nd or the 1st or any other of our rights , its still the Constitution ! That 228 year old document now amended 27 times is all we have to keep this nation free, It is what separates the USA from the rest of the world and has now since Dec 15 1791 when Virginia ratified the last of the original first 10 amendments.

Next year Virginia will rip the Bill of Rights to shreds because Democrats obtained a simple slight majority in one election and that's a horrid thing to think about to come from the state where so many cherished liberty at the risk of their lives and fortunes in founding this nation and defending it at risk and loss of their lives afterward for over two centuries .

So why don't the Democrats amend and ratify the constitution ..Instead of ripping it to pieces without one word about any reasonable regulations instead of jumping to a complete ban of firearms of one type that millions use legally and lawfully and a mere handful have criminally and cowardly misused in acts of insane violence

Rip up one right you've ripped them all, the well of liberty poisoned forever by Democrats

DAJAX The major problem today is people in our throw away world in the USA don't know what liberty is and the worse thing is they don't care . Its all taken for granted and that is sick
