How bad are the Redskins? Just saw a TV ad for season tickets

I've been watching the Skins since the 80's and have never, ever seen an official ad for season tickets. Maybe I missed an ad here or there over the past season, but it used to be the was a list that you waited for years on until you got tix. So sad.

Did you see the number of empty seats in last weeks game? It was shocking. They removed an entire section two years ago, after removing seats in 2010 ( http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/football-insider/post/redskins-to-remove-another-4000-seats-from-fedex-field/2012/04/02/gIQAc88brS_blog.html ) and they still cannot get even close to filling the stadium. I think they should move back to D.C. and build a modern replica of RFK stadium with a capacity of 50,000.

Yeah, they definitely need a smaller stadium. I'd take it down to 5,000 though. Much more appropriate.

I heard Daniel Snyder is going to buy robotic manikins to fill empty seats on top to make it look like the stadium is sold out. He got this idea from Kim U in N Korea.

There are thousands of unsold season tickets on the Loge level, but these are not counted when they say it is a sell out. Every year the word games they use to keep claiming every game is a sell out become more and more absurd.

The wait on the Redskins season-ticket wait-list is currently estimated at about 25 years. Nothing like the Packers, Steelers, or Eagles (how 'bout those Eagles), but still a pretty long time. Still, just getting on the wait-list means you get a crack at visiting team tickets that don't get sold. You could even win an autographed picture of Jay Gruden. Nice. Isn't he the quartermaster or something?

It was just a few years ago NASCAR was having their tracks paint the unsold seats different colors to make it look there were people in them when they had overhead shots from the blimp.
