Nope, they've really buckled down and started enforcing the law since so many beaners cause so many accidents in the area (often without insurance). Either junk the car and get something off Craigs list or fix the problems with your car.

Not really. My car never passes inspection because of the mods I have aren't DOT certified, so I just pay a few dollars extra each year to Pedro or Hector at the inspection station.

All my cars are very new and would pass without the additions, but fuck this state stealing money from us in ANY way possible, like paying for inspection. Easier to get it on the street, you don't have to wait in enormous lines, you can have what ever additions you desire, and most of all you get to say FUCK YOU to the state!

Break a windshield and steal the sticker.

Take it off a car that will pass, then take the car that will pass back to get inspected so it has a sticker.

Start riding your bike to work. Now that Gov. Fast Terry passed a law stating cars have to pass you by 3 feet instead of 2 it's so much safer, and more manly, now.

that's the quickest way to:

1) spend more money in long run
2) get injured or get someone else injured

if you believe you were unfairly treated you can look up the rules (see below). and you can get a 2nd opinion by asking someone else, though it may cost $15 if they agree it should be re-checked.

it's very simple the "real rule" is that

1) if it causes death on a highway (ie, 50+ mph) it FAILS. this can be anything really. if your mirror can fall off: fail - that'd cause a highway death of someone behind you. lights out? in dark fog you might get hit by a mac truck.

2) emmisions are OK (note far from good does pass) (if they aren't you have engine problems that will cause engine failure if not repaired, and you can't intently destroy your engine while smogging air; you must repair or let someone who will get it)

yea i bet you can't find a young white gov worker's son who got a license to inspect who wouldn't put a pass on a car with a bumper falling off that isn't even tied. i bet.

i bet you can't find a dishonest fuckin foreigner in a shop in fairfax that isn't selling passes for failures. i bet.

of course they have so much control now... they are likely selling books to some for a price
