Give RG the game ball for injuring himself - that may give Washington a chance. Kirk drove for 2nd td... Proves this team was too focused on $$$ spent and not enough on performance. Play the talent, not the 'potential' not the money. Play those that are hungry and perform.

Kirk can really see the field. He knows the play book and he executes. He can slide and his footwork is very good. With that he opens the whole offense. I feel bad for RG in a way because this shows how behind RG really is .
Anyway Kirk will get some int's because he is not afraid of throwing but he seems prtty accurate and he goes down the field not across. This is a really good development for Washington.
Breaking: Kirk throws on 3 and 1 now its goal to go from the 5 after 8 plays. Take RG out - different team.

RGIII should never have been on the field with a partially torn ACL. The team doctor thought it was a bad idea. Besides, running around the field isn't the QB's job. Even guys like Russel Wilson and Colin Kaepernick opt to throw first over running.

RG is a great athlete but was he just to slow to learn the offense? He was fawned over, tutored, worshiped. He was given every possible advantage yet Kirk walks in and it looks like a professional football team all of a sudden. I guess they will say the JAGs prepared for RG.
Its true once teams see the film on Kirk they will exploit his weakness but the one thing he is not weak at is understanding the qb position. QB gets paid to read the D, manage the clock, ignore the danger and get rid of the frickin ball. Thats pretty much it.

RGIII never learned the offense because he is special and didn't need to. Whenever the Shanahans told him he wasn't special, he sent his dad to tell Danny Boy how special he was. I'm sure today's injury is somehow Gruden's fault.

Most college programs don't have the luxury to train a QB in a pro-style offense. They resort to spread option and triple option systems. As a result, they look for QBs who can also run. Tim Tebow is an example of a white QB who came from this system. Most option QBs can't cut it as pros. It's not a black or white thing. Expect Johnny Manziel to suffer the same fate as RGIII.

If RG111 recovers before the final 4 regular season games you can bet the commentators will be playing the race card to get him back on the field.
If Cousins plays better than 500 ball we might avoid a whiny RG111 saga hyped up by the media.
To tell the truth...Colt McKoy is better than Griffin who held the ball during the Houston game and made the Texan's owner feel a whole lot better about the big Watt contract.

Quick recovery to RG but please dont bring him back in as starter. Hes not a starter and never has been a rational choice to run the offense. In his prime you could wind him up and watch this man with more courage than brains take on the most powerful fast moving humans alive - it caught up to him.
Its like flying - just because you fell out of a plane and survived doesnt mean you can fly a fighter. RG is in no way ready to start as QB in this league. Someday its quite possible and I look forward to seeing it - he could be great.
