Parents want online learning
Posted by: Single mom fairfax ()

We need to close fcps in the fall and do online only. It will be much safer for the kids and we parents will get to spend more time with our wonderful children. Any parent who disagrees doesn’t care about their kids. Either that or it is my ex-husband Jim. Go to hell Jim.

Good morning class. Today we are going to do some dissection to learn about anantomy, with the ultimate goal of learning how the human body functions. Since we are not in the classroom we are going to have to improvise. I'm assuming you all have a family cat or dog? Okay, I'll give everyone about a half hour to find your pet and kill it, then we will continue.

You can perv on young girls online just as easy as you can at the school.

I prefer to be in the classroom.

But, I got my salary statement email for next year and I’m getting the same pay as last year. I’ll be just fine without a raise.

In the building or in my jammies at home, y’all have to pay me the same.

Meanwhile in the real world a majority of parents indicated they wanted to have their kids go back to school in the fall.

You lie. You are blatantly lying!

As of July 15 at 11:59 p.m., responses for 189,000 students:

In-person: 112,712 (60%) (includes 31,289 who did not respond and by default were given the in-person option).

Online: 76,288 (40%)

Learn to math sweetie. Out of parents who bothered answering the survey an overwhelming 57% of caring parents selected online only learning. You can only get your numbers when you add the parents who foolishly selected in person learning combined with parents who care so little about their kids they didn’t bother choosing.

The vast majority of parents who made a decision chose online only learning. It just shows the overall goodness of some parents. We want our kids safe and educated which is why we supported online learning for all students. ::smooches::

Nope. Show your work. Your math does not add up. 57%??? Also, parents did not need to respond in order to vote for in-person classes. Therefore you cannot make the assumption that even one of the 31,289 nonresponses are parents who do not care. Let's see that math worked out now....

Single mom is simply a teacher pushing the online education agenda.

Among affirmative votes the totals for parents wanting their kids to return to the classrooms were running higher than the totals for parents wanting their kids to do online classes. Among teachers the results were opposite.

Even "single mom's" numbers show this. According to "her" the totals were in-person 112,712 and online 76,288. Even if we deduct 31,289 for those "single mom" claims were put in the in person by default that still means that 81,423 chose to have their kids attend in person. That means among parents who made a choice nearly 52% opted for in person. Let's hope "single mom" isn't a teacher, because that does not speak well of her math skills.

Now lets consider just how "caring" those who chose online classes are. There is no requirement that the students take the classes from home. The kids can be at home, at grandmas, at a neighbors or at a daycare provider. There is also no enforceable requirement that there be a parent there to assist and monitor the child while classes were being conducted. There is also no requirement that parents respect social distancing rules for themselves as well as their kids during the online learning period. In other words sign up for online and then get on with your life. Parents who opt for the in class option have to worry about getting their kids to school and picking them up. Parents who opt for in class options have to find daycare providers who are willing to be creative or to pay for daycare services they won't fully use. Kids in class will be at least benefit from social distancing rules while their kids are in school. In other words the in class is a commitment for parents.

The numbers don't lie. Teachers don't want to return to work. They've spent months staying home and getting paid to do nothing. Now they want to stay home and get paid the same rate they would be paid for teaching in the classroom.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

76288 189000 / = 40% of all votes want online
112712 189000 / = 60% of all votes want in-person
112712 31289 189000 - / = 43% votes for in-person minus nonresponses - still 3% higher
31289 189000 / = 17% nonresponse rate

112712 31289 - = 81423 votes for in-person minus nonresponses
76288 81423 + = 157711 votes for in-person and votes for online
76288 157711 / = 48% votes for online of all responses
81423 157711 / = 52% votes for in-person of all responses - still 4% higher

All jokes aside, how are parents dealing with children without daycare centers now? It seems to me that it can drive you crazy. Or are there any ways to keep the kids busy for at least a couple of hours or do something useful for them? Or are there centers that work?

Good afternoon! Well, you are right. It is impossible to deal with those little monsters, especially if they are extremely energetic as my children. I thought I went crazy when the lockdown started. It was impossible to keep them busy even for an hour. They saw me working on my computer and wanted to play, to eat, to go outside. I have found the child early education Brooklyn center that works https://littlescholarsnyc.com/. I hope they could help you! You can call them and they will give you a consultation.

The stay at home moms are NOT hot. It is Virginia. They are all old wrinkled fuglies that wear no makeup, do not get Botox, have yellow teeth, wrinkles, fatty or skinny fat, saggy titties, and they are nasty as fuck. They hate their boring lives!

Hi, online tutoring is a great solution to prepare for your entrance exams. Thus, the educational material is very easily and easily assimilated. I can recommend you a good online training at https://medicmind.com.au/gamsat-tutoring/, where they teach exclusively to prepare for study at a medical university.

It is best to prepare a child for school ahead of time; I believe you will agree with me that mathematics is not a topic for everyone, that it is not taught to all children, and that many children struggle with it. My child was having difficulties with arithmetic, so I came across this website - mathematics helps, and decided to learn math with him. The lessons here are entertaining and humorous; there are no dull texts, and everything is read and delivered to you with interest; in just a few weeks, my child has already excelled at arithmetic problems, and I have learnt something new as well.

some of us have kids who struggle immensely with virtual learning and NEED to be in the classroom..

single mom to a teen daughter who i love more than anything..have you seen the mental toll the virtual learning took on teens??!! there s a plethora of data out there..
please be careful with correlating maternal love with our kid s needs...
unless you ve watched and lived the horror of your teen daughter admitting she is suicidal and in crisis--a direct result of being isolated with vl--on top of observing her grades plummet with the same, well, it s the worst experience i ve ever had in my life..

time to think much bigger and show a bit more compassion and openness..

always do your research..
