Burger Chef Franconia Road

Does anyone remember the Burger Chef on Franconia Road? It was located across the street from what is now Paradisio Restaurant - which used to be Franconia Hardware. I was about 5 at the time (45 years ago) we lived in the area, before Springfield Mall, before anything was there. I would always order a plain hamburger with mustard. YUM.

Yes, the building has been split into a Thai and Peruvian Restaurant. Was taken there a few times as a kid.

I remember the name and the logo, but I don't remember ever eating at one. Was there any others in the area? I was more of a Falls Church/Annandale kid. I remember eating at McDonald's on Rte 50 near Annandale Rd, Roy Roger's at Loehmann's Plaza, Red Barn on Annandale Rd., and my favorite was the Burger King in Falls Church city.

THere was a Burger Chef in Tysons Corner. I remember going there, I don't remember if the food was that great, I was probably younger than 10 when it closed.

There was a good taco place across the street from Paradisio, I think they're closed down now too.

I used to go to Burger Chef in Columbus, Ohio.

Burgers were made plain, but they had a fixin's bar where you could add shredded lettuce, onions, tomatoes, etc.

Loved it. Miss it.
