If a column of Russian tanks was coming up Pennsylvania Avenue, would Obama do some postmodernist pondering about it on the golf course or while at a Democratic fundraiser?

It's Michelle who was never proud of America until her husband became president (in the sense of he gets to play golf a lot).

Conservatives, like liberals, love America. I would think everyone would be concerned about the current leadership in Washington.

And therein lies the problem. There is NO current leadership in Washington from either party or group or caucus or whatever. Posturing, bloviating, obstruction, name-calling, yes, but absolutely no leadership.

that’s because no one dare say anything for fear of offending someone. And if we did have someone in office with the balls to speak their mind, they’d be shot down in an instant and out of office before the week was out. We’ve become a bunch of indignant cry babies.
