There were incidents of violence in Alexandria schools when there were police officers present. Outside of things like open gang activity and open drug dealing police officers don't have a significant impact on delinquent behavior in school.

I take it you are a disciple of the Biden Administration where you ignore the problem with the hope that the problem will go away...or maybe wait until a half dozen kids are murdered and then double down. Great game plan!

You are one of those morons who cheers on police crackdowns right up to the point at which the police start targeting you.

The truth is that police officers in schools are largely a feel good measure. when delinquent behavior is occurring the officer is seldom around to prevent or stop it. Having an officer on site would be beneficial in a single shooter situation. Those are rare. Since 1970 there have been 25 shootings at Virginia schools. Since 2020 there have been 2. Mostly the SRO program is tying up 50 officers in Fairfax County schools day in and day out when those officers could be better serving the community in other assignments.
