Abandoned FCPD cruiser? Should we be calling this in?

So, in the median of Little River Turnpike at the intersection of High Place, just east of George Mason Regional Library is an FCPD cruiser. I passed it twice in the last hour and there is no officer anywhere in the vicinity. Should I call this in? Could he have gotten Ferguson-ed and is lying dead in a ditch nearby?

Just hop in and drive it to a station, why are citizens so unhelpful?

You're just noticing this?

They do that all over the County, especially at lights that the crazy motherfuckers like to run.

You better stop cuz you just don't know if there's a cop in that car until you're right up close.

It's like in the immortal words of Harry Callahan...."You feeling lucky, punk?"

Don't worry about it, it's just some traffic initiative so the local precinct commander can get promoted. Smoke & Mirrors

Moron. It's not abandoned, it's there to make you slow down 'cuase you're probably speeding, running a light, texting and driving, yapping on your phone or playing with yourself.

Law enforcement does this all around the Commonwealth. In fact, I've seen it in plenty of other states too. One day you'll think it's empty and there will be a cop sitting in it.

The one that is often in the median of Braddock Road near Backlick, the grass gets cut around it, looking very abandoned and not very threatening.

Once while driving along a narrow road in the country late at night I came upon a curve in the road with an unprotected embankment and there was a car at the bottom on its side in the field down there. I didn't have a phone with me so I drove to the end of the county road to call the police, and there, parked along the side of the road, was a police car. It was dark, so I pulled up next to the police car and called over to the cop sitting in the drivers seat several times with no response from him. He never ever turned his head. It suddenly dawned on me that the police were using dummy cops sitting there in parked cars to make people think there is a real cop there in the car. I had to go on home to call in the sighting.
