Vacant buildings @ 7961 Loisdale Road

Back in the summer of 2013 a pair of office buildings were finished at the end of Loisdale Road, those two buildings have been vacant since then. Finally Amazon will convert them into data centers; part of the letter I got says:
Amazon recently purchased the property located at 7961 Loisdale Road in order to develop a secure, two-story data center on the site. In an effort to do so, Amazon has filed rezoning/special exception applications with Fairfax County to rezone the property back to the I-5 District, which was its prior zoning classification. This proposal is consistent with the Fairfax County Comprehensive Plan recommendations, and would allow for the establishment of a low-intensity use that is projected to generate a significantly lower amount of traffic than the existing office use that is on the site today. In addition, the proposed access to the site would be a right-in/right-out from Loisdale Road only.
The applications have been formally accepted by the County and are in the beginning stages of the development review process with County staff. A tentative Planning Commission public hearing has been scheduled for January 19, 2022.
