Culpeper family found dead

The Culpeper Sheriff's Office says it is investigating the deaths of a married couple and their three children as a murder-suicide.

Around 10 p.m., the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home in the 14000 block of Rixeyville Road for a “possible death scene,” the department said in a news release.

Deputies discovered five victims inside the house, all suffering gunshot wounds. They have been identified as Clarence Washington and his wife, Shauna, both 35 years old, and their three children: 4-year-old Olivia, 6-year-old Onya and 13-year-old Omesha, according to NBCWashington.

The Culpeper Sheriff's Office says a gun was found at the scene.
