Goddamn Fair Oak Costco
Posted by: Bob Bitchin' ()

I will never shop in that fucking store again, and here's why:

1. Carts all over the fucking park lot. Bunch of fat slobs too lazy to take them back to the cart corrals where hey belong. Of course, this applies to just about all stores around here. You bunch of lazy, fat-asses!

2. Free samples. Jesus fucking Christ on a Popsicle stick. How much fucking free food can you fit into your festering maw anyway? Why bother buying food when you can just walk through and get a five course meal in 20 minutes, albeit in bight size portions? Meanwhile, you and you fat fucking family can block the aisle so that I can't get through to purchase a few meager vegetable. Get rid of this or move the concessions and their hair-netted, third world barkers to a central location where all the obese freeloaders can gather and not get in my way.

3, Kids. Kids don't have the account, they don't have the money, and they aren't sufficiently sentient to qualify for making household decisions. Make them wait in the hot car with dog.

4. Koreans. Seriously, why does it take an entire extended Korean family dating back to the pre-DMZ era to push a single cart loaded with the week's cigarettes and candy? And what is the deal with the endless parade of meandering, elderly Korean men walking around with their hands behind their backs? What? Are they contemplating the unification while the lady folk squeeze all the fruits and vegetable into a fine pulp looking for the perfect specimen?

5. And what the hell are all the Indians (or, I don't know, Pakis) doing with all that milk. They buy this stuff like it's gasoline for a '70 Chevy Impala.

6. The muli-cart brood hens with all the kids in tow. Oh my God. don't stand behind this miserable creation in line no matter how short it appears. Between all the frozen dinners she needs to put on the belt and the evil imps pulling at the loose shorts covering her pasty, flabby legs, she'll take a solid hour to check out.

I could go on, but I am just too pissed.

I would, but I got busted at Wegman's for trying to shoplift 17 tubes of KY jelly and an English cucumber and the court ordered I never step foot in their store again.

Lol lol lol lmao... What the hell do Indians do with all that milk?

Maybe to cool their tongues after eating spicy curry?
maybe they bathe unit bc they value cows as sacred... Although most Indiana don't bathe... Or at least it smells like they don't.
Maybe They dig into recycling boxes and pull out empty milk containers and fill them up with the costco milk and return them to Giant or Wegmans to Make a 20 cent profit per a gallon.

The OP says it was the "Fair Oak Costco". Even if he meant "Fair Oaks" as part of his rant calling people there idiots, there is no Costco at Fair Oaks. The closest two are at what used to be called Price Club Plaza at 29/7100-286 (miles from Fair Oaks Mall), and Chantilly around 50/28.

they pay $95/hour or other bullshit.

BTW, Sherlock, it's now officially "Costco" instead of "Price Club" w/attendant street signage. Welcome to the 21st century.

The funny thing about Wegman's is that the store is huge and the aisles have plenty of width for the most part. These self-absorbed yuppies are constantly bumping into you, stopping briskly with no regard for who is behind them, coming close to ramming their carts into you as they leave an aisle & you have to veer away. I'm dodging jerks at least 15 times every-time I go.
This never happens in any other grocery store, no matter how small- not even Trader Joes.
The yuppies dress like bums there, as do they at Tyson's mall. Still, easy to identify by the blank, empty, mean-spirited, I'd rob you of your last penny & then go rescue a one-legged dog attitude. Narcissuses & their props!

Sherlock,

Feel free to blow your smarmy details out of your pale, pockmarked English ass. You knew exactly which one I was citing despite your uppity missive.

The fact remains the the FAIR OAKS COSTCO is a hive of human misery.

And another thing, the Hispanics really love to turn that place into a post-church, wear your gaudy Sunday best, family gathering. Although, I get the idea that they all chip in a dollar for a single membership card thus allowing all 50 residents in the townhouse to having a go at it.

The op nailed it, although the Chantilly one is turning into a carbon copy. Koreans unloading enough groceries for a small country with their cart behind your car while you try to back out. Or staring at the salmon for 8 minutes when every pack is the same plus or minus a couple ounces, you can go on forever

And what's up with all the lard-ass white trash buying mounds of refined, processed food? What is a family of four (six to eight, if they are Mormon or Catholic) going to do with ten loaves of nasty Sunbeam bread and six cases of diet soda?? What, do you think the zero calorie, high sodium death juice is going to neaget the shitty carbs your are packing into your pie hole?

And how about those who return bouquets of flowers - do they give them to someone and then take them back? And how about the packages of steaks and ribs they bring back uncooked. And how about the kids who run into elderly people - especially ones in the motorized carts. Costco would improve image by stopping the free samples and refusing returns of perishable goods.

Think Fairoaks is bad? Try Pentagon City, Every Third world turd who can't drive or shops there. They actually shove if you are in the way. I picked and slammed some Indian guy up against the shelf when he shoved out of the way while I was looking at something. Scared the crap out of him. The women do it as well.

Gas station is open from something like 7am-9pm...avoid the lines...get gas early Sunday morning...maybe 2-3 cars at 8am. Friday afternoon...well prepare to wait.

$.11/gal difference yesterday (Sunday), yet 10+ in line at opening. Who thinks it's a good idea to wait a half hour to "save" a buck and change? How fucking stupid are Costco addicts?

No shit. I only stop there for gas on my way into work, well before the store opens. I can't believe idiots who spend 30-45 minutes there on weekends to save 10 cents or so versus the neighboring Sunoco station. Holy shit.

I get $2.20 off a gallon with Giant Gas points, plus my credit card runs a special of 5% off certain quarters, so take off another 0.18. I pay about $1.40 a gallon. I buy gift cards when they offer the point specials on them.

My kid took a pic @ the holidays - the line to the gas pumps was around to the Costco Plaza entrance (across from HDepot). Do the math - average 3.5 minutes per car, say 75 in line just to get to the station lot, you're looking at nearly an hour and a fucking half just to save somewhere around two bucks.

These are our "fellow" FFX residents today. What a bunch of fucking morons.

While we're complaining about 1st world problems - when is Costco even open? It seems like the employees spend the morning at the spa, and then lock the place up so they can go play golf.

How about some hours for working people???

My time spent is worth more than what I would save. $0.10/gal for 20 gallons is $2.00.

I guess Sunoco gas is one of the luxuries of making minimum wage.
