ha thats so gay, security clearance bullshit. thats why I fucking hate government jobs, they discriminate against normal white humans (the ones that partied in school), meanwhile they hire some worthless foreigner for the same job for 'security reasons' and 'affirmative blaction'.

Yeah I've heard horror stories about the polygraphs from people with clearance. The lifestyle is higher than what is usually required and is administered by CIA/NSA folk. BTW the jobs are probably for the FBI sentinel system.

Is this 7 years of clean living, or a lifetime of it?

Just a hint, for those who don't know: there's no such thing as a lie detector (polygraph). It's just a coercive investigative tool. Regardless of how you answer the questions, the response of the examiner is always the same. "Well, you answered pretty truthfully, but on question four there seems to be some ambiguous readings from the machine. Is there anything else you'd like to tell me?" It's just a bunch of flashing lights and intimidating machinery. The whole point is to get you to admit stuff. All that stuff about putting a tack in your shoe or holding your breath is BS. All you have to do is NOT ever admit any wrongdoing. The only problem is, the examiners actually think they can detect lies, so ultimately you're at the mercy of someone who's essentially no better than a fortune teller.

lees sauce, what exactly do you mean by 'partied in school', did you smoke pot and get denied? I'd be suprised if you smoked a few times in school and got denied a clearence.

I have taken a lifestyle poly. It wasn't too bad, though I did have an uneventful upbringing. It's been a good 10 years since then, though.

...and I still lead an uneventful life. sad...

If somebody would pay for my clearance, I'd take one...

15 times is the limit for smoking weed. Anything more and they won't accept you. Before the test they will ask you if you ever smoked it or anything else if you saw once then during the test they will say except for that one time did you ever do it. It's hooked up to pretty advanced software and they do register false positives than can fail you sometimes. WHile they are categorically unreliable and not able for use in court or private industry the gov loves em. It is not just flashing lights and noises, but measures many responses on your body that are typical when one is lying. They put a thing on a finger because it is typical to sweat on the hands when you lie.

Turd Ferguson has it, dead on. It's total B.S. If you are a young guy, they'll say you were lying about drugs. If you're a computer guy, they'll say you lied about not being a hacker. If you lived overseas, they'll say you lied about knowing foreign nationals. It's not a big deal, but I know people that thought their careers were over because some jackass with a hard-on for cracking people wanted to make their lives miserable with no provocation.

To Missy, the original poster, why don't you at least tell us your company's name? Anybody who meets any of the qualifications you listed above can easily get a high-paying job with the very best companies in the area.

I did coke does that mean i can be president?

the USA is one of the only few countries in the world that actually uses lie detectors because they dont work.

i never heard of tack or holding breath hacks.

But they say if you take depressant pills like codien and shit it lowers your response and reflexes so it dont pick up on the machine.( suppossivly found out by pill popping house wifes of the CIA lmao!)

I personally like the ask yourself another question in your head real quick, after they ask theirs. like "DO you like cake?" then awnser yes. and you are telling the truth. or "do like spinach?" then awnser no. and the machine says your telling the truth.

Only the paraniod will Survive...

Of course you are right about this and I agree with you. Undoubtedly, many companies are engaged in software development, because there is a great demand for such services. Therefore, I found companies that are engaged in custom dashboard design, and thanks to this I was able to form an application for my business. By the way, this company helped a lot and did everything in accordance with the mission, which my boss really liked. I hope this information will be useful to you.
