South County Principal

Who looks good for principal at SC? The county wants people to think the community actually has a say in naming the new principal. Does anyone believe that. There are some very talented administrators within SCHS and elsewhere in the county. Any suggestions?

Hopefully someone outside the already ineffective and dysfunctional administration which is in place will be hired. Maybe see if Rumsberger will transition from interim, back to full time? Kids had a healthy respect for him and the kids didn't run the school when he was there. Or even see if Mrs. Funk, retired FCPS, is available. Regardless, bring someone in with a fresh perspective. Lipp was an ostrich with her head in the sand when it came to any issue. Nice lady but not a strong enough leader to lead a school. Her minions are the same. Too scared and politically correct to make an important decision…they all just want everyone to like them and for the football team to beat Centerville. Great facilities and some good teachers and kids at South County but they need a major change.
