I just got my first new mortgage payment reflecting the tax hikes for Fairfax county. I get to pay 200 more dollars a month to this fucking county or 2400 per year.
Growth in this county if you read the Washington Post you FUCKING Liberals is driven by immigration. You fucked up liberals always like to celebrate things like
Fairfax County Schools now majority Brown!
Also the current surge of children are coming to join their parents who already lived in Culmore. So now the citizens of Fairfax get to pay for the new wave of Central Americans who will need ESL courses for years, free lunch, Medicaid, etc.

There are so many hidden costs it's staggering.
Recently someone on this site published the average number of students in classes by school in FCPS. The range was about 16 to 28. If your school has a high number of FARM students, they probably have 16-18 students per class. Low FARM=26-28 students per class. In this case, your kids are being taxed in that educational services are being taken from them and given to others.
School lunches just went up a lot. This is a backdoor way for the schools to bring in more money. Federal government pays for the FARM students, which are now almost 30% of FCPS students. Those not on FARMS pay the higher amount.
For many families, your ballooning health insurance payments are covering other people.
You are taxed way more to pay for the federal government's failure to protect the border than you think.
That said, it is not the fault of immigrant children. They are just going where they are told.

Virginia is among the first states to attribute the loss of thousands of jobs and billions in revenue to sequestration, the mandatory across-the-board spending cuts that took effect in 2013 as part of an earlier impasse over the federal budget.
While sequestration may have faded from the general public’s memory, the pain is real for states like Virginia, said Scott Lilly, a budget expert at the Center for American Progress. The cuts cost the state lucrative private contracts, especially in Northern Virginia, home of the Pentagon, and in the heavily military Hampton Roads area.
“Virginia is always going to get hit a lot harder,” Lilly said. “In West Virginia, probably, you couldn’t measure it with an electron microscope. But you just go through all of the contractors from Reston and all the way down to Tidewater — this is where America’s defense industry is concentrated.”
McAuliffe said sequestration reduced military contracts in Virginia by about 20 percent, or $9 billion, from 2011 through 2013. He cited an analysis by Stephen Fuller, a George Mason University economist, that projected a loss of 154,000 jobs in Virginia, which is about 4 percent of the state’s workers.
In an interview, Fuller said sequestration compounded a problem that started in 2011 when defense agencies stopped renewing many contracts, a change that he said has had dire consequences for not only the commonwealth but the entire region.
“It’s like we were spoiled,” Fuller said. “It’s going to take [McAuliffe’s] whole term, and probably the next governor’s term, to turn this thing around. The whole rest of the country is ahead of us.”
Based on earlier shortfall estimates, the state has already cut $707 million from the rainy day fund and $843 million in new spending. McAuliffe has not cut money for education, mental health, domestic violence and state pensions. But faced with a $882 million budget hole, he said Friday that nothing is off the table, including layoffs.
“Anyone who wants to ‘slash’ spending in Washington is putting Virginia’s economy at risk,” said U.S. Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.), who opposed the across-the-board spending reductions. He urged Congressional Republicans “to make spending cuts with a scalpel, rather than with blunt tools like sequestration.”
In a rare display of bipartisan consensus, McAuliffe was flanked during his speech by House Appropriations Chairman S. Chris Jones (R-Suffolk), Senate Finance Committee co-chairman Charles J. Colgan Sr. (D-Prince William) and Senate Finance Committee co-chairman Walter A. Stosch (R-Henrico). The officials would not provide details about how they would try to pare down an already austere budget.
While the projected revenue gap is significant, lawmakers said the state has dug itself out of deeper holes in the past. Former governor Robert F. McDonnell faced a $3 billion shortfall during his term, and Mark Warner, who was governor from 2002 to 2006 and is now a U.S. senator, faced a $6 billion shortfall.
Still, McAuliffe said this past fiscal year marks the first time outside a national recession that general fund revenues have declined in Virginia. State revenues fell about $438 million, or 0.9 percent, a stark reversal of the predicted 1.6 percent growth.
U.S. payroll employment grew 1.7 percent in the last fiscal year, compared with 0.4 percent in Virginia.
McAuliffe said the shortfall started with the “fiscal cliff” standoff of 2012, when high-wire negotiations in Congress over the debt ceiling led nervous investors to cash out stocks and see a one-time spike in their capital gains tax. Like many other states, Virginia enjoyed the surplus tax revenue last year but this year is feeling the pinch.
House Republicans, who have spent much of the year fighting with McAuliffe over his campaign promise to expand Medicaid through the Affordable Care Act, said the grim budget news reinforced their belief that the state should not count on federal funding for health care or any other programs.
“It really makes our argument for us,” said House Majority Leader M. Kirkland Cox (R-Colonial Heights).
But McAuliffe dismissed the comparison as “apples to oranges.”

Today a family with 3 kids can cross into the country, enroll their kids in FCPS, and taxpayers would have to pay something like $45,000 in education costs alone. It's probably actually higher because FCPS offers smaller class sizes to FARM schools, as noted by someone above.
The government spends taxpayer money in an incredibly wasteful manner. This of course is natural. If you had full access to your neighbors' wallets and bank accounts, you might be reserved in spending their money in the beginning. But over time you would come to feel entitled to it. That is what has happened with our government.

There is a problem with asking people who do not benefit from their taxes to pay more taxes. This gives meaning to the word expensive (for them). There was a group of people who were asked to pay taxes back in the day and they weren't receiving any benefit from those taxes. The result was a revolution. The risk in raising the taxes is that the middle income people will leave because they are trying to be responsible and save for their children's college and their own retirements. The people who don't pay taxes will stay or even more will come streaming in (because the tax rate does not affect them). The people who do stay will suffer ever increasing taxes. So you will get a bigger gap (the haves and have nots) in much the way this happens in other urban areas. The character of Fairfax County as a middle class enclave will be pretty much gone. Loudoun County is growing because of this phenomenon.
You also lose retirees who have some money, but don't want to spend it on taxes. They have no reason to live close to schools, etc.

A whole lot of citizens and legal immigrant taxpayers should be getting really, for real, outraged about the illegal immigration issue.
This country, with its elaborate, hideous tax system in place, leaves no room for illegal immigration this day and age.
The middle class to poor ones are being taxed heavily as never before in the history of the nation. Especially inside the perimeters of any given metro-city areas like Washington, DC.
TAXES are higher than they have ever been. More and different kinds of taxes, taxes, taxes. Food tax. Property tax. Payroll tax. Medicare tax is continuously rising. The government is forever figuring out new ways to to make the Social Security insolvent. Then telling the elderly they must wait longer to get a smaller S.S. check. For example, if anyone gets diagnosed with HIV, simply, not HIV/AIDS, they automatically qualify for a S.S.D.I. check. A simple mental diagnosis gets a person, as well, a S.S.D.I. check. The Health Care Industry has been squeeking thru bills/legislation to open up the tax dollar money window to get just about anyone a S.S.D.I. check. They add up the money that it collectively brings into the Health Care Industry and with a lot of it they push for more. Like with the ObamaCare crap. Its nothing but a new tax for more money to be poured into same. Now it is mandated by our government.
It is nothing less than more Corporate Welfare.
And it will get worse. People are leaving this country in drones once they get a retirement going. Taking their retirement funds and living where it goes the farthest. This trend is getting bigger and the overall impact of it will be devastating to those left inside the country.

Housing prices in any decent area of Peru are pretty high. A 1 bedroom condo in an area where you don't need a security guard to leave your house, will cost you $150k. About the same that it would cost you for a 1 BR condo in Fairfax. A large brick house in a nicer part of Peru will cost you $500k - $800k.
You can get a brick house in Detroit for $20k too, but no one wants to live there. Same story with Peru.

Think about it, what would it cost to pay for these services to private companies. Youd want the fire station, police force, transportation, sewer, water package at a minimum right. Public schools and a library for anyone with kids. Heck, private school for one kid is going to set you back more than a few grand a year. And yet when you pay 2-3k in County taxes you act like its some huge rip off.
I dont think taxes are a rip off in this area in particular. Now with Federal Tax you have a whole different argument imho. Defense, pork corporate welfare and of course entitlements to farmers, conservative white trash and the inner city slackers and its nothing but fat.

They gather up and share information on where, how and when to get any free help available all over.
A place in Maryland nicknamed 'Maryland De Casa' (House in Maryland) is a major destination in the DC Metro area for them.
It is a well source of information for any and all illegals arriving. They know and give them all sorts of places to go to get free help. Food. Clothing. All the help centers in the region to get free showers, temp housing, etc. Everything they will need to survive homelessly and wait it out to the next big government waiver if 'forgiveness' to get citizenship status.
All the homeless help centers thruout Maryland, DC and VA. Any churches that might be helping. Where to get 'free everything'.
Of course, most of the help starts out to give homeless citizens and legals. But they flood in and soon change all that. Over-whelming the places so much and getting the Hispanic Caucus influence going so strong they literally make it impossible for all others but them to get help at any given one of these places.
They show up, the illegals, in, literally, sworms. Like insects. Gobbling up any and all available help. Leaving no room and no help available for the homeless citizen or legals. I have witnessed this happening at many places. With most of them being gay, drunks and druggies that for some reason or another have been run out of their home countries. Usually thru breaking the laws there so much they end up being run out. Many are from families with large estates to come here and send every spare dime back to the family's in support of the large estates.

The worm hole goes much deeper than taxes with the helping of the illegals entering the country. Oh yes.

They gather up and share information on where, how and when to get any free help available all over.
A place in Maryland nicknamed 'Maryland De Casa' (House in Maryland) is a major destination in the DC Metro area for them.
It is a well source of information for any and all illegals arriving. They know and give them all sorts of places to go to get free help. Food. Clothing. All the help centers in the region to get free showers, temp housing, etc. Everything they will need to survive homelessly and wait it out to the next big government waiver if 'forgiveness' to get citizenship status.
All the homeless help centers thruout Maryland, DC and VA. Any churches that might be helping. Where to get 'free everything'.
Of course, most of the help starts out to give homeless citizens and legals. But they flood in and soon change all that. Over-whelming the places so much and getting the Hispanic Caucus influence going so strong they literally make it impossible for all others but them to get help at any given one of these places.
They show up, the illegals, in, literally, sworms. Like insects. Gobbling up any and all available help. Leaving no room and no help available for the homeless citizen or legals. I have witnessed this happening at many places. With most of them being gay, drunks and druggies that for some reason or another have been run out of their home countries. Usually thru breaking the laws there so much they end up being run out. Many are from families with large estates to come here and send every spare dime back to the family's in support of the large estates.
