You wanna buy, Giant and Wegmans. You want it cooked, Fish Market Old Town. You got a pocket full of money? Any French place.

I miss Chesapeake Bay too. I adored the lunch special Po Boy shrimp sand.

And when my pocket was full yes the AYCE Crab Legs! Or at Least AYCE "Steamed Spiced Shrimp" With a pitcher of cold beer. Ya Baby!

You can still get AYCE Crab Legs and Spiced shrimp for about 40 dollars a person at Capt Johns Crab House at Cobb Island Md. and they have a seafood sales there you can buy and take fresh home to cook your self. Crab legs come frozen in a 40 Lb box FYI. then they part em out. A 40 lb box?? Youll have to ask Bill Gates hes the only person who can afford it.

The first one I knew of was in West Springfield behing the 7-11 and Bagles place at Rolling Road and Keene Mill.

When they opened it was awesome getting all those fried shrimp althought they were tiny. and any else cheaper.

Others sprang up with huge lines on weekends. Fairfax where Super H Mart is
Mt Vernon, Springfield, Bailys, Herndon..

But in time quality slipped, fish that was supposed to be crisp was greasy,
AYCE plates were not filled as fast as people demanded, prices went up and the thrill was gone.

The best is found at any Korean grocery store. Though, you must dig through the rotten seafood to get to the good stuff.

(Protip: seafoodwise; steer clear of Fairfax's Arthur Treacherous & Rancid Lobster)

IMO
-Sushi Prince in Fairfax. Raw or cooked sushi rolls & seafood dishes available on menu.
-To Sok Jip in Annandale. Korean comfort food, specializing in fish & seafood.
-Fresh World Grocery in Springfield.
-Wegmans fresh seafood dept ain't so bad.
-Duangrats & Rabieng in Falls Church
-Esposito's Pizza 'n' Pasta has a respectable seafood selection on the menu if you're not into Asian food & more in the mood for authentic Italian.
-China Star(Fairfax)scallion fried fish & others from the Szechuan menu.
