Where can I buy some absinthe or chartreuse?

Basically, I want to be a tool that drinks fancy stuff and then can tell people how excellent and cultured I am. Where can I find this stuff? Does ABC have it?

You have to order online from european companies. Usually the stuff is made in France.

They sell fake Absinthe at ABC stores. Its right next to the Jager and it has a portrait of Vincent Van Gogh on it. Even comes with a spoon

i think real absinthe is in a weird legal limbo at the moment, not sure on this - but its legal to own/carry but not legal to sell. atleast thats the way i heard it last time i checked. But if you want real absinthe make sure you get one with actual thujone in it (its the reason why people trip balls when they drink absinthe) some of the lesser (Shittier) brands of absinthe dont have thujone at all - i believe its a type of wormwood.

Don't know, but 3 Sheets did a great episode in the Czech Republic where he drank a bunch of the stuff....made me not want to bother because it apparently tastes so horrible

I've ordered it a few times from overseas, never had an import problem. The French stuff (Le Fie?) is the best but expensive. The Czech stuff (some is red instead of the usual green ) is horrible but it will give you the experience. I'd recommend two shots, no more your first time. I never take more than three. Read up on the process, there's a fun ritual where you add water and sugar, and it will stay green until the right amount of water is added, then it will immediately turn white. Tastes like licorice.

Don't mix with regular alcohol, it will reduce the effect. You get the same general feeling of being drunk, but you don't lose motor control. I recommend athletic activities under the influence, dancing, boxing, fencing. Don't drive though, not sure if the impression of retaining motor control is just me fooling myself. Cheers!
