The mother of Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick said her son was not beaten with a fire extinguisher by a mob on Jan. 6, saying he likely suffered a stroke instead—refuting reports from the New York Times and other outlets claiming otherwise.

“He wasn’t hit on the head, no. We think he had a stroke, but we don’t know anything for sure,” Gladys Sicknick told the Daily Mail in an exclusive interview on Feb. 22. “We’d love to know what happened.”

The NY Times, CNN, and NBC updated their reports weeks after the Jan. 6 breach to assert that Sicknick was not killed by a fire extinguisher. Originally, the NY Times reported, based on anonymous sources, that Sicknick was beaten to death.

CNN has been reporting that he had some kind of reaction to the bear spray.

The original report back on like Jan 7th was that some officer died of a stroke. (I don't remember which media reporting.) Then in recent weeks I heard someone was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher to the head, and I assumed it was a different policeman.

SO now we're back to the stroke, and the fire extinguisher never happened. But maybe the FBI is investigating the use of a "chemical agent".

Regardless, it's all Trump's fault: he conspired with the Proud Boys to conduct a tactically coordinated violent assault on Congress and incited the mob with his lies and lies; Trump is guilty of insurrection and responsible for many deaths and injuries on Jan 6th; there was a mob of thousands of heavily armed violent Trump agents who nearly succeeded in assassinating a number of Representatives and Senators. And these forces of evil are about to try again, this time also targeting Biden and his family and their little dog, too!
