Janitors for Fort Belvoir will strike Tuesday morning if the Atlanta-based federal contractor they work for refuses to come to the table to renegotiate the terms of their contract.

fact is this is a sharon bullova style wage dispute. their gov jobs aren't in danger.

this strike is a public fake - like so much of what this gov does

They tried this last year and it had no effect. Everyone emptied their own trash cans and cleaned up after themselves.

God forbid gov workers should have to empty their own trash cans and clean up after themselves like the rest of us in the real world. When the recession hit cleaning services was one of the first things our company cut and we haven't looked back.
