Driving down 123 or RT 7 now looks like New Jersey. Can't wait for all the graffiti to appear on the Metro walls of ugly ass concrete. This morning I got to enjoy the sounds of the metro car's squealing brakes from over a mile away. Isn't life grand? It used to take 40 minutes to get from Great Falls Street to the Beltway, now that is an hour. Pretty soon that will be 2 hours to go the first 3 miles of my commute.

Tyson's always was an incredibly ugly place. Aside from all the stores and traffic just look up at the sky, God doesn't seem to smile upon Tyson's.

Try leaving at 8:30. 5 or 6 light cycles to get onto 123 alone because the folks turning north on 123 from Lewinsville rd block the intersection and then dozens of light cycles to get to 495 South. I took the kids to the movies at the mall (3.6 miles) from my house last week at 5:30. It took 1.5 hours to drop them off and another 45 minutes to get home.

You do know that there are other routes, correct? On the bright side, you can drop your kids at the metro now and have them take that.

Tysons Corner has NEVER been an attractive area. Having a subway station will only make it uglier. Wouldnt live there for all the coffee in Starbucks.

This area has been run over with New Jersey and New York trash.
Now it looks like New York and New Jersey. Nothing but concrete and horrible drivers.
