Quote

Sully Police District – Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Monday, December 31 on Route 28 on the Interstate 66 overpass. Around 1:45 a.m. a 27-year-old man driving a 2007 Chevy Avalanche pick-up truck struck the rear of a tractor trailer that was lawfully stopped at a red light on Route 28. The pick-up truck erupted into flames and the driver, George Tabash, of Centreville died at the scene of the crash.

The driver of the tractor trailer, a 44-year-old Pennsylvania man, was not injured.

Detectives have not yet determined whether speed or alcohol are factors in the crash and the investigation is continuing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Solvers by phone at 1-866-411-TIPS/8477, e-mail at www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org or text “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES/274637 or call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.

You know, an innocent man gets killed in a tragedy and you guys pull up his ticket records to make a quick judgment on whether he was a "good person" or not.

Just because a guy gets a speeding ticket once in his life doesn't mean he's a good or a bad person.

Have some respect for the dead and find something more interesting to do on New Year's Eve.

Of course, the FX County Police or the State Police Departments have nothing to blame themselves for about this. While they negligently refuse to stay focused on the deadliest issue facing this country since WW II!
They are seen readily harassing pedestrians, barking up the dead tree, per say, sitting around in huge parking lots in pairs, gabbing away for hours on end. Then, suddenly, there is another reckless driving call into dispatch! And they finally move their dead asses into gear and zoom to the called in scene to miss the entire ordeal and not be able to do a Damn thing about it, cause, uh, Duh, uh, they did not see it.
Too many drunk or allebriated drivers of automobiles are out on the roads at any given time, 24/7. And both State and local patrol officers are barking up a tree with some bullshit agenda in the meantime. Acting like they have all day to do something other than addressing the most deadly, INJUROUS to us all issue in recent history. Being 'bullish' about issues that are totally redundant by comparison. Spending tremendous amounts of time and energy on everything else but automobile moving violations and steadily checking for drunken, allebriated otherwise, automobile drivers. It is outlandish. Rediculous. Gross negligence. And what are their superiors doing about it? Nothing! Which makes them just as negligent in their duties as well. All the while, more dead, maimed, seriously injured and crippled human bodies numbers keep piling up higher and higher by the minute. And just listen to their lame, bullshit excuses. It is pathetic. Call Crime Solvers my ass! As far as we all should be concerned, the above facts involved have already solved the crime!
Now go call your Union, copper! Explain your candy ass excuses to them. They get paid to listen to it, not us!

Yes. The taffic issue, the aggressive or otherwise intoxicated automobile drivers, the drunks, the druggies, are still the number one threat to the rest of us all in this country. Makes 9/11 look like a walk in the park by comparison. And it is ongoing. And what are the sick powers that be that keep it just liberal enough to keep it going? Why, are they not just as bad or worse than the terrorist of 9/11?
There is no such thing as as contradicting authority, for a contradicting authority is no authority at all!
Now, Jackass copper, go pull over someone that is driving sensibly, responsibly. Charge them with some idiot SHIT like 'impeding traffic', and imagine it is this sensibly responsible driver that most likely is allebriated somehow! Get FUCKING REAL! All the while aggressive driving ASSHOLES are blasting up the roads all around while you do it! GET YOUR FUCKING HEADS OUT OF YOUR ASSES!

None of you have any right to judge a wonderful man. Do you know what is behind the accident? What caused it? Who this man is? If not, back off and leave him alone, I can guarantee that he is 20x any man that would post poorly about someone they don't know on this website!

Which innocent man was killed? I know you can't be referring to the Pick-em-up truck driver, who slammed into a tractor trailer which was stopped at a light. Nothing innocent about that.

I can see "dumb monkey" a mile away -- and anyone driving an Avalanche definitely qualifies.

There is no point in fighting with the idiots on here, but I do have to say that George was one of the best people you would ever meet. He is someone that would give you the shirt off his back or look at you if you've had a bad day and make sure that he got a smile out of you. Obviously, the one posting bad about him, never met that and I have a huge assumption that it's because they can't get out of mommy's basement long enough before curfew to actually have a life. So to you guys, I say, good luck you hobbit like recluses, that will never have a life because you are too busy judging others to actually find a woman that would tolerate such idiocy.

To everyone posting negative things regarding this accident, think about this. What if it was one of your friends?? People all make mistakes, everyone who has posted thus far has, and we learn from them. Unfortunately George doesn't have that option now, but is now in a better place. I am happy to say that George was my friend and I, yes I was lucky to know him. His infectious laugh and smile will be sorely missed. Out of respect to his friends and family, why don't the trolls try and keep their negative comments to themselves, because I can guarantee you, if you knew him, you wouldn't say them. Rest in peace George, you were a great guy and I will see you on the other side.
Love,
MSD

Wouldn't it be better to honor his memory on a obituary/memorial page or create one on facebook, rather than doing it on here (which is the equivalent of holding his wake at a strip club)?

Settle down dude, ticket search results aren't always negative. George's results aren't anything to get in a tiff over. His last ticket was what, more than 5 years ago? The tickets he did have aren't anything extravagant - he didn't wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle and disobeyed some highway signs. That's insignificant.

Right now, it just sounds like a fucked up accident. Had he been like Jamie Cetto and had more reckless driving convictions than teeth, you'd know what it was like to face the brunt of the posters around here.

I passed this accident while the guys in white suits where cleaning it up... I figured the person who crashed was dead by the looks of things and I immediately got sick to my stomach and sad for all affected. I immediately assumed a drunk driver but them stopped myself because there could of been a number of reasons why he could stop, I.e. medical reasons etc.. I only found this thread while trying to find out in fact what happened and I have to say you people posting mean things is just wrong. No matter what caused the accident there is still a person who died a horrific death and friends and family suffering with the pain. If you can't say something nice keep it to yourself or Better yet why don't you use your computer skills find the family's address And go knock on the family's door and say all that shit to their faces. I'm not saying that I agree with drunk driving- IF IN FACT THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED HERE-
RIP George and prayers to your family and friends.

Would you say that to his grieving family? Face to face, not from a keyboard?

If your issue is that we ae being disrespectful, I think it's a lot more disrespectful to do it to thier faces. I think it'd be much better for the greiving family if we kept our criticism of the deceased to this dark, dingy corner of the internet. In fact, every time you post here, every time you view this thread, it goes up in the Google page rankings. If you keep it up, this thread might shoot up to the first results page.

Calm down buddy, no one's saying he deserved to die. The general consensus here is that's what happens when you drink too much and drive, and that it was very fortunate that no one else was hurt because of his bad decisions.

There is no proof that alcohol was the cause of the accident. As someone said earlier, he could have had a heart attack. It could have also been caused by many other medical conditions. I don't think it is fair to make comments or judgements with little or no facts.

I understand its a statement of a general opinion/fact but people's choice of words could be a little more kind hearted in Sted of using "your alcoholic friend" it could have been put nicer ad more caring way I don't go on a strangers forum and accuse them of being an alcoholic if I know nothing about them fact is if you have time to be on this posting negative outcomes and fake productions you have no life maybe you should live your life as our family has bec you have no idea. The life this man lived was a caring and gental life he was there for everyone of his family and friends and infact his friends are also his family each one of use would have traded spots with him you posted on the wrong forum and to the wrong family to think you can blab about consensus not againsts any positive remarks

first of all, george wasnt drunk not all accidents that happen after midnight are alcohol related.... he was on a strict diet plan and he couldn't have been drunk! just because of a skins. game, don't jump to conclusions just think if it was one of your family members or friends, would u assume he was drunk right away?! george was a great friend to all that have had the honor to have him in their life including me.

I too came upon this site while looking for information on the accident and services. I knew Georgie personally and professionally, he was truly amazing and this is a big loss for a lot of us. I am sick to my stomach as I was scrolling down hoping to find something about arrangements and I can't stress enough how disgusting some of you are and the comments/conclusions that have been made off of little to no facts about the last seconds of a man's life. What happen to humanity! George was a beautiful soul and that's more than what can be said about some individuals for the most disrespectful comments I have ever laid eyes on. No one knows what the circumstances were and he was on a strict diet plan and had a few medical issues that could of played into it. Those of us that knew Georgie were very privileged to see his smiling face and hear his giddy laugh that was so infectious. He was a son, brother, uncle, friend, a shoulder to lean on and a most of all he was loved. This could of been anyone of us on here so if you have any decency left THINK before you post, people!

"I will pray for you and your cruel thoughts."

Does this mean you pray to encourage my cruel thoughts?

I love the pious , self righteous attitude of the religiously confused.

So above it all, they'll pray for you, in other words, a way of saying "I'm better than you". Which isn't very Christian at all.

A really devout Christian would pray for you, but keep it to themselves. After all, it is between you, them and "God".

Funny enough , people throwing themselves down on their knees for an icon with the same credibility as The Easter Bunny.

But to see these delusional holy rollers constantly display their hypocrisy without any clue is absolutely hilarious.

You are cowardly little shits that have nothing better to do with your time. You don't have records because you are probably too young to even reach the pedals of your mommy's minivan. While I realize some of the good people posting on this forum were George's friends, I would caution you in discussing any of his personal medical history that you may know of. Now that he's gone, there are other factors to consider that might be scanning posts like this, such medical carriers, auto insurers, life insurance, etc.

I would just remind you that not just friends and family look for information on these types of things and sharing his personal information on such a public forum could be a detriment to his family in the long run.

Very sorry to hear about the loss.

Wow, how about the idiot OP in that thread saying that every Avalanche (Oops -- I mean, "Avy") driver should have a fire extinguisher? LOL. Sit there with a lil' fire extinguisher trying to put out a gas fire instead of just getting the hell out of the vehicle.

Drunk, not drunk, either way he slammed into a tractor trailer stopped legally at a red light. Be very glad this wasnt a car with a family inside . Did he deserve to die, God thinks so. Yes it is sad for his family and friends. Where were they after he left the party. Even though the truck driver was not injured, he is a man, at work, doing his job and probably going home to his family. Ruined his day I bet, look what he gets to think of when he goes to work from now on. Drunk, texting, whatever.Pay attention to the road. Have friends drive you, What if the truck was not there, then there would have been multiple fatalities. These trucks have people inside them , slam it into a wall if you want to kill yourself

It's funny how people are quick to make judgement on something they know nothing about. Hell, most of us still don't know what happened, I just know that it is very unfortunate. We all lost a friend, and that is the bottom line. What if YOU woke up and found out something this tragic happened to one of your friends? Better yet, what if your parents were woken up by this bad news of you dying in a traffic accident? I will say this as sincerely as possible: think before you speak because something like this could affect you as bad as it does all of us.

@lester - we are discussing a guy who was driving down 28 SO FAST that he slammed into a vehicle and BURST. INTO. FLAME! And some picture someone posted on the interwebz is what you focus on as "fucked up"? Someone needs to re-examine there Hierarchy of Needs, I think...............

@music - I know, right? Next they will be saying I need to treat pedos and streetfighters nicer (since they are such good people......................)

@go fuck - purpose? a) cause he was driving like an a-hole on a public road that I DRIVE ON! b) cause he decided his life, and the lives of others he would meet that night along 28 meant ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HIM (which makes me wonder how many other times he's done that bullshit before) so he could get his speed-jollies on c) so ppl reading this know that going so fast on 28 that you cant stop for the red lights and burst into flames from the collision is the DEFINITION of being and ASSHOLE! Cause apparently, there are some assholes that dont know (or care) other ppl use 28.............

maybe yr pal should have been the one showing a modicum of respect to other drivers (like that trucker who's prolly not handling this too well right now )
