traffic drone 395?

So I was driving south on 395 tonight about 7:15 PM. Right above me around Seminary Road was this hovering craft which looked smaller than a helicopter so I guess it was a traffic drone? I've never seen a drone that large before and other cars were also slowing down a bit(bad idea) to get a closer look at it.

lots of people fly drones with cameras mounted, It makes for great footage. Flying one above 395 is asking for a good ass fucking, balls deep first stroke by the feds. I think there is a 25 mile radius or maybe further from that area.
It's an expensive hobby, but once you you learn to fly a drone and get the right camera, you're hooked.
The video makes it all worth it.

Yup, I saw it too.

I couldn't believe it when I saw it. And the funny thing is I saw it in the exact same place as you around 5:30ish on July 29th.

What is the world coming to?

A buddy of mine received a DJI Phantom 2 as a Father's Day gift and it is pretty cool. Simply flying it around the neighborhood provides some cool footage, but he used it to shoot people boating and jet skiing at Lake Anna along with a rowing regatta in Tennessee earlier this month where his wife and daughter were competing.

FCPD was working with APD to find that local contractor who's been dumping bodies at various locations. They got a tip that the intersection of 395 and Seminary was the latest.
