Has anyone seen this in the theater? Is it worth it?

If you want to see them this would be the time since they seem to be dropping like flies ........

They're not dead, they're pining for the fjords.

Saw it last night in Ballston. It's mostly a live show that was taped about a year ago, but it has actual old TV sketches mixed in as well. The "Olympic 100 Yards for People with No Sense of Direction" never gets old, even if you've seen it a hundred times here...

The 30-minute intermission did seem both odd and excessive, but on the whole, it was quite a good show. As was said early on, people want you to do all the old bits but you try to come up with some new way of presenting them. Pretty successful all in all. Tickets were $20. Seemed well worth it to me.

Yeah, Mona Lisa is dead too. But more to the point, what in hell are you talking about? Graham Chapman died in 1989. The other five Python principals (plus Carol Cleveland) are all alive and kicking and appear in the subject show singing, dancing, and prancing about. Why post when you have no clue?

Well I ended up going and glad I did. It was only $18 in Alexandria. There were some technical glitches in the beginning and the intermission was excessive. In the beginning they declared "1 down, 5 to go" in reference to Dr. Chapman's death. They didn't really finish the Cheese Shop Sketch, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3KBuQHHKx0 which is a good one. But overall a really good show. Oh, yea, and Carol Cleveland was in many of the sketches.
