I know that what few people still check this dying forum, and its a shit site haven for bigoted to incel cretins who don't own a home free and clear, but for those who check in for the local historic photos thread and pay actual taxes to send the brain dead fucks who post here to school, the taxes are due by midnight on Monday.
You're welcome!

That was a highly offensive post by the OP. I've been here for years and seen no evidence of this bigotry you write of. Indeed, hate truly has no home here.

Fuck you troglobite. Who are you to pass judgement on the other people who frequent this forum? Go ask your mommy to heat up a hot pocket for you for lunch. Prick.

My mortgage processor takes care of that for me, you have to be dumb to own your house outright with mortgage rates as low as they are.

My portfolio is up 136% YTD (ARKK) and I pay 2.35% for my 30 year fixed mortgage

Ummm.... some of us are not so financially ignorant to tie up their cash in a house with record low mortgage rates. The gains on my portfolio this year alone are enough to pay off my mortgage, but I'm not a Dave Ramsey simpleton so I won't do it.

When you invest your money instead of tying it up in a house, a mortgage is hardly noticeable. Set it on auto pay and I don't even notice it leaving my account as a added bonus they pay my taxes and insurance through escrow and I don't have to bother.

Well, some of us have made enough money that our forever home is paid off already. It happens. Not having a mortgage means more money to invest. Sorry you are still trying to get there skippy.

Speaking of lost investment opportunities...
Cary should've sold this sucker eight years ago in the heyday of soclial media forums and could have gotten some serious money for it, and put that cash into Facebook's 2012 IPO. He'd be a fucking billionaire today.

Tying up money in your home with historically low interest rates gives you more money to invest?

I guess that's why billionaires have mortgages https://www.cnbc.com/id/48220824

Well, you see, many of us make enough money to pay off our mortages and continue to invest. Peasants like you wouldn't understand that. And I am not clicking on your link, thanks. Prick.

Only peasants are afraid of debt and don't understand how it works, especially at historically low interest rates. Peasants also don't understand the increased liability of owning a paid off home nor the tax inefficiency, peasants take a standard deduction anyways and don't have enough assets to worry about liabilities.
